There are a lot of negative reviews of this app but I have had no issues with it at all. I think a lot depends on knowing how to set up the profiles for it to get the best out of it. I'm using it on a Samsung A90 with a policy that drives all my connections through Zscaler. I've turned off SSL inspection on it as there are so many apps that are certificate pinned that it isn't realistic to configure exceptions for every one but despite that, I still get URL and app protection etc.
Easily the worst VPN app, probably the worst android app, I've ever used. Aside from the expected hang ups and crashes (which are numerous), the app will occasionally fail completely silently. As in, you diagnose the problem by uninstalling zscaler and seeing if your other apps work. Oh yeah, zscaler crashes affect ~any and all other processes on your phone. And you can't disable zscaler - you have to uninstall it. 0 stars if I could.
Someone from zscaler please improve this experience. Have to opt into notifications that vibrate my phone all day. Cant figure out how to keep the vpn off (android auto wont work if its on). I uninstall/reinstalll repeatedly only for work purposes.
