2024-12-22 | Eben Wight | The app seems to get stuck. Leaving a spot on the screen even when a device is not being used. The logs also seem to be reporting odd values. Finally, when access dots breaks (every few hours) it breaks energy ring too, causing it to lock up. Sometimes the phone needs a restart before energy ring works again. [Sad Kittenface Emoji]
2024-12-12 | Peter Reinold | Same problem as with energy bar. The app itself becomes a massive ad spammer. Doesn't work anymore as before. To get the old feel back you probably have to pay even more. Introduce additional features and charge for them, not features which where there for years and then decide to lock everyone out. No thanks! Than in a year I need to pay again? Sorry, deleted!
2024-02-10 | LeeLee | Used the app for a few years now; it is a good app that does exactly what it says. However, it often stops working without notice, and I only realize when I open my camera app and don't see the dot. At which point, I have to disable the accessibility permission and turn it back on to get it to work again. I can only suspect this is due to the lack of Dev's updates to the app in years.... I've swapped to a similar app now
2022-04-20 | Christopher “xIEthanHuntIx” Pearson | So I bought this on an old device exactly 2 devices ago. The purchase was made in November of 2021. The application doesn't allow for transfer of purchase license. Which brings me to the 1st problem I have. Which is the application says I already own it so it won't let me get a license for my current phone. The second issue is it is stupidly easy to accidentally delete your detection history. There should be a confirmation request so you don't lose valuable information to a misplaced tap! One⭐
2022-04-09 | Charles Bush | Excellent app to show you when an app is accessing your camera, microphone, and/or your location just like an iPhone. One irritating thing is that when the phone is restarted, the app doesn't restart. It must be restarted manually by turning it off and on again. Hope this is fixed in a future upgrade.
2022-03-03 | Jeremiah Davison | I think this is a useful app. I think if developed properly and given revolutionary updates it can provide peace of my mind that no one has tapped into your phone when suspecting it the most. You can customize all icons to different colors and sizes. All icons work when microphone, GPS, and camera are activated. Overall, you give trust to a third party developer who gives you visual confirmation that your privacy is ensured. I use at meetings and other events.
2021-10-30 | R Woods | Free version experience seems to be legit. When I open an app that I know accesses one of the monitored features, the dot shows up. I do wish that the app would log each feature accessed, and inform you of which app accessed it. Maybe that is offered in the premium version, but unsure. If so, might be worth the purchase if you have privacy concerns.
2021-08-03 | Brian Armstrong | The are a surprising number of accesses to the smartphones camera. This app identifies the time and apps that access the cameras, mics or GPS. Kudos to the developer! The inside app extra features require periodic payments. Yet, no description of license for extra features is provided. For example, is this a one time payment or an annual subscription?
2021-07-03 | Chad Michael Chambers | Good app, mostly well done. The access log is great Could use more customization options, particularly individual locations for each dot. Problems: The dots do not demo themselves while setting location The "around camera" setting requires the energy ring app to be active. But if i don't want the energy ring (i prefer energy bar), i can't use "around camera"
2021-04-14 | Nathan B | Grade A app. Absolutely love the features. I understand this is still in beta, but unfortunately, the location dot doesn't work for me. Specifically, it'll work for a while after the service is first activated, but then it won't show up even when using Maps. I would have to revoke and allow the location permission every few days. Hope it gets worked out soon. The camera and microphone dots work flawlessly, though. Great work 👍 |
