Recent update has ruined the app for me. My favorite section is "What's News." But now it is unreadable due to the horizontal orientation and limited screen space which doesn't even allow a single full sentence to display. Also, headlines (and articles) displayed are no longer the same as those printed on the front page. I want to read what's printed. Don't pick articles for me - I'm capable of doing that myself. Fix the app or hire a different tech team.

Oct '24 Update: +2 Stars. App still needs work but credit where due: - After the update and clearing app data, all articles FINALLY open, even web links, plus I get properly signed in with a auth token. I'd prefer all acticles in-app, but this is a big step. Thank you. - Saved articles actually sync between app & website now! About time, right?? - Still annoyed w/o in-app Dark Mode, and having to set the whole phone to dark mode. WSJ is BY FAR the brightest app. I dont want my whole phone dark.

Fantastic app. Only one problem: very few articles actually open when I tap on them. The screen flickers, and I'm left on the same screen. I don't particularly enjoy having to switch to my laptop to read a 2 minute article that the app refused to open for some reason.
