2024-11-06 | Caroline Jenkins | I can't add the side effects without having to go through so much inconsequential information
2023-04-19 | G B | Not bad reported a side effect to medication fairly easy. The app could be a little more user friendly but if it works don't try to fix it as they say .
2022-12-29 | Phil Hawyes | Like many of the other reviews on here, this is a terrible App, constant freezing and terrible interface. I'm beginning to wonder if this app has been deliberately made unstable to put folk off reporting and keeping the reaction numbers down.
2022-08-18 | Laura L | Can't even sign up. When entering phone number just gives an error saying *FORM VALIDATION_PHONE_E_164 like I'm supposed to know what that means. Massively disappointing considering the app should be quite important in a medical emergency. Shocking service.
2022-08-12 | Mand | Not user friendly, so people won't submit reports of side effects, so the database can't be reliable. But the "Continue as guest" button does nothing, doesn't even "blink" to acknowledge a tap. (I'm on a new phone and have lost lost my password.) I only wanted a quick look at one medication but I'll have to find my way to the website... when I get round to it. Unlikely! Tragic; this could, should, be as invaluable to the NHS (and save professionals' time answering questions!) as to individuals.
2022-04-08 | Cheryl Staff | Couldn't register properly. I didn't trust it, no app of any note is that difficult to share your side effects as requested. Quicker & more reliable to ring the clinic. Will be reporting my findings. Uninstalled immediately.
2022-03-18 | Ian Williams | Thanks everyone for the negative reviews on here. I went to the MHRA website where it was RELATIVELY easy to complete the form. I did this on my phone, so I don't understand why MHRA can't just use an app that is little more than a bookmark and allow users to fill in the form online. The calendar issue was not too bad on the web. There were a few issues, like I could not report nausea without selecting what kind of nausea from a list of medical terms I was unfamiliar with.
2022-03-03 | Niki Milligan | Not for Individuals - very bizarre! When you try to use this app to report medicine side-effects, the very first COMPULSORY question is about who you are. It provides a drop-down list of options. ALL are medical professionals! There is no option for patient/individual ie the poor sod having problems with the med. This is a BIG change for Yellow Card - and not a good one. I know from past experience that a lot of GPs can't be bothered doing it, so to exclude patient reports is madness!
2021-06-25 | Atha Fokias | A waste of time. Does not record account details Spent a long time entering personal data then it doesnt remember me. I entered 4 drugs on watchlist but it even lost them. Now my personal data is out there under no control. Shocking standard of software.
2021-05-07 | Alan Harwood | For such an important app you might think it was well designed and easy to use. Think again. I've been trying to complete a report about my first Covid jab for a couple of hours and have now simply given up. A few examples. The app wants dob but you have to spend ages scrolling back through years to do this. In addition when I got to the section about how bad the side effects were the menu had already ticked the field that I had died & would not let me amend it!! |
