2024-11-14 | Kelly | I've now deleted this app. It costs a huge amount upfront for what you get with no option for a monthly subscription to cover development costs. Speaking of development, I did not notice any improvements over the 12 months. If anything the app became less reliable and crashed a few times. Absolute waste of money.
2024-09-22 | Mark Ostendorf | Content is great. Recommend for compassionate guidance. Unlocking app (after paying) has been a bit tricky, and changing devices means losing progress.
2024-09-19 | Johnny Rayner | Brilliant. Easily accessible and full of life changing practices that are easily accessible and relatable. They are also presented in a way that is not overwhelming. The reminders (nudges) are very helpful and motivating as is the daily gratefulness (morning and evening check-ins). I am halfway through the course and have been using it for almost a month. You could do it much quicker but it takes time to actually put what you are learning into practice, which I have been doing every day 😊
2024-04-11 | Paul Soden | Great app that gives a good grounding in Compassion Focused Therapy. Using it daily to calm my "tricky brain" Content is well written and highly accessible. Minor technical issue with notifications not working in Android but this doesn't detract form the content and exercises. Already beginning to feel benefit after two weeks of using the app.
2024-03-12 | Google User Incognito | This app has most resources required for self-CFT practice, especially if one is new to compassion focused therapy. However, as an app, it is quite counterproductive to the therapy. There is no web interface or desktop app. All the exercises require users to manage them on mobile phones. Also, there is no linear path for anyone seeking just to follow the therapy step by step with instructions. There are many options for random breathing sessions, reflections etc.
2024-01-11 | Alexander Oscar | This app is really informative, helping me to understand my emotions and their connection with my body. Bite size exercises and daily check-ins don't feel too much. Also, I don't feel I'm being pushed to be a "better person" or something I'm not. It's about acceptance not judgement.
2023-11-15 | yerzhana akhtmezhanova | I have just started thus I am giving 4 stars. As I go on I will discover more features and see the progress the app has on my health. So far, I am slowely making positive changes to my daily routin and I find the encouragment I get from the app is rather usefull. I would definetly recomend it to my friends if they need help
2023-09-21 | Phillip Garlick | great content. would love a desktop version so I could use a keyboard to type faster - can become a little tedious with all of the reflective and journaling components on a phone.
2023-09-06 | Aisling Miller | Clearly lays out the course in manageable chunks. Lots of useful tools to help you practice and plenty of variety so there is something for everyone. App is easy to use, you can track your progress and have the option for a nudge to practice again later. It's been so helpful for putting down the groundwork for CFT and for working through issues in times of distress. It's like having a therapist in your pocket 24/7. Big thank you to the developers Elaine and Chris!
2023-07-30 | aufdemweg12 | I rarely pay for apps but I did it this time and I didn't regret it until now. The course leads you through a lot of interesting and helpful sessions that can make you feel better. I would appreciate if the time to test was longer than 3 days. The course could be a bit more personalized, at least showing your own notes after a time, that's why I give 4 of 5 stars. |
