2024-01-09 | Bruce Salta | It was very frustrating to use. there's no way to turn off the app. There are no instructions to guide you through how to set up the app. There is very little informati on youtube on how to use This app. I keep waiting for the location tags to show up but they never do.
2023-06-19 | Scott Rynd | The app works in both wifi and LTE/5G mode on the Samsung S22 Ultra with Android 13. However, there is no in-app guidance, help documents, or website source for instructions to save the survey results. The video button does not appear to do anything, while the camera button does capture a photo and prompts you for the app you want to use to store the image. The "+" button seems to start and stop a survey but again, there is no guidance to how to save the results. In short, not a good ux.
2022-09-08 | Len Atfield-Cutts | Ok could live without it especially as it just seems to be a revenue generator. Paid for no adds - fine now wants more money because survey limit reached. I can see there is room for another 2 items to pop up later when I reach another limit or want to use a feature. In app payments go up to 7.99 so after £4 for unlimited measurement and no adds there's more.
2022-08-31 | Techville “Dave” Dave | Considering similar apps for a computer run from hundreds to thousands of dollars I'd say under eight bucks is a pretty good deal. I run multiple sites with multiple floors and this is just a fast easy graphic interface. To do it properly spend hundreds or thousands create a floor plan map and make a proper heat map. I'm using it in multi-floor hotels and it's a quick fast easy way to see where the overlap is. Keep up the good work guys I have no problem donating a few bucks for this app.
2022-08-10 | Jay M W | Hello this is a great app except for the fact I purchased it twice thinking the first time I might have made a mistake but no. So I went ahead and uninstalled it reinstalled it purchased it again I'm still getting ads it's like the money I spent to buy this thing twice in a row has been wasted how can you guys at tech support fix the app to recognize I have already paid for the premium version stop giving me ads
2022-06-02 | Jared H. | Potential, but still seems like it's in early beta? Find it interesting the limitation placed on the free edition. Makes it really difficult to tell if the paid version would be worth it. Barely took any sampling before it hit an unpaid limit. Was inconsistent in giving the AR info, sometimes nothing would come up. Camera froze forcing an app reset. Might be useful if the bugs get worked out. Using a Pixel 6 Pro.
2021-12-06 | Sam Bartle | It's 85% of the way to awesome.. but it needs a tutorial or a manual. The random hand waving and dots sort of imply to just wave it about.. which works, but the map looks nothing like my home that it builds. It also needs to differentiate different floors better.. and the multi AP mode doesn't seem to work. If I have 2 different AP's with the same SSID.. it thinks they are conflicting.. and if I whitelist the second.. it always says #1 is the best, even though it isn't. It needs some minor tweaks and useability fixes, but its certainly an interesting ide and I look forward to seeing improvements.
2020-11-02 | Hot Potato | This app is soo cool. I walked around my house and the wifi was strongest next to the router. It automaticly makes markings telling how strong the wifi is. Sometimes it loses track of where you are and you can't see the markings but it fixes itself and places the markings back where they belong. At one point my wifi just got weaker which I thought was strange. I only wish that you could save the markings after leaving the app.
2020-09-14 | David Needham | I was skeptical that this would work or provide much value, but the positive reviews convinced me to give it a shot. This app ended up being the most useful when I was comparing signal for a variety of home network setups. It helped me easily visualize how the signal changes as I walk around the house... Even up or down floors! There are ads, but very infrequently. I'll definitely be using this app again the next time I need to do this kind of work.
2019-12-13 | A Google user | I really like the idea and it works well for small areas, but the execution is a bit clunky. The map frequently disappears and this app often gets confused about where my phone is. Also, frequent crashes cause everything to be erased (so save often) |
