2024-09-03 | Daniel | There's a permanent ad in the bottom of the screen and the heatmap is limited to 50 points. I would give a better review if that was informed in advance of me running around the house. App is a mess but ok.
2024-07-09 | Qwerty Qwerty | This must be a joke. There is no way you could ever get a wifi heatmap like on the picture, because you have to draw everything manually using circles. I repeat, it works by placing colored circles on a map screenshot yourself!
2024-02-07 | Neil Brown | great for working out very best location for my router on a temporary long cat7 patch lead from the ONT (optical network terminal). The aim being sufficient signal and elimination of dead spots in all rooms using 5ghz before 2.4ghz as far as possible. Final location using this was better than my best guess. Now I have a reliable go to app to monitor and troubleshoot Brilliant!
2024-01-28 | Ben McQueen | Used this to map outdoor WiFi coverage. It overlays data points (signal strength and phy rate) on Google maps. It mostly works. It does seem to suddenly exit/crash sometimes but it didn't loose data it has already got. There also is a limit on data points (50, I think) on the free version which isn't clear. I did not try the indoor part.
2023-08-04 | Ethan Williams | So i have used this app in the past and it works great. After buying the full version i can no longer export or share or even get the files from the phone to share them myself. Why would offer the pay option to only take away other options that make this great? Not happy right now.
2023-06-27 | D O | 3 out of 5 stars! The issues I have with this app and Google is that they are not as clear as Apple. If this app is in the apple app store you see the $1.99 to remove the ads and $29 for the full app. After installing the app and giving it access to all my information I see the hidden prices. If this app with full access was sold for $9 it would sell in the millions in 12 months or less, but at this high price of $29 it will not move as fast.
2023-01-24 | Ty Marbut | The test gives up after a few minutes without warning, which causes all test data to be lost. I've tried many times, but I have yet to actually complete a test and save any data. Also, as far as I've been able to tell so far, it doesn't actually create a heat map, but instead puts colored pins on a map. That's ok for my purposes, but strictly speaking, that's not a heat map. Maybe if I could complete a test, I would see something different
2021-07-23 | James Kemp | Shows multiple metrics, e.g. signal, speed, ping. Simple but does the job I wanted very well. I managed to get my room to the right scale, but would like 1.5m dots and couldn't figure out how so it's not there or it's tricky (clicked advanced but seems to scale room). Make it a little more idiot-proof to set scale and size of dot, then 5 stars.
2021-05-23 | Kyle MAnley | Mapping and measuring kept not recording. A better drawing tools might have made the drawing better. Needs to be able to set distance while drawing or you will most likely have a bad map, unless you are good at drawing maps without a ruler or other measurement/accuracy tool. Couldn't even complete my bad map drawing though because it wouldn't record any new measurements after the first.
2020-10-07 | Dmitry Kravchenko | Absolutely contrintuitive interface. When making flat project, it asks to enter scale. Scale widget consists of two small circles with animation, one line and one big circle. It is impossible to put circles in all desired pixels of image, because small circles can't be moved too close to image margin. Aslo, when close to margin, circles don't coincide with ends of line, so it is unclear, what I am specifying and by what part of widget. Also, after specifying, it can warn me about "too small" or "too big" spot, which has unknow meaning. After measured parameters in few points, it is unclear, how to turn it to heatmap. Etc. |
