| 2024-11-30 |  | | A Real Digital Detox. This completely blocks with 'Locked Mode' because you can't delete , circumvent, whatever, etc... Phone, laptop, tablet can be on their own or same schedule. I block during distracting times and I need to be mindful of when I'll need an app outside of a scheduled block. Will power does not work for most. Can have the convenience of a smartphone without the distraction of it. This does the job and allows me to pay attention to what really matters. Great Job Freedom. |
| 2024-10-19 |  | | The app worked amazing but now I have been experiencing many many bugs. Biggest one being that even after a session has been finished on my phone, the apps continue to be blocked. When I open the app, I see no sessions in effect but the session is still active in the background. Contacted support and no reply. Please fix the issue. |

Considering the amount charged for the premium version, it is a bit disappointing to be finding glitches like this on something that is supposed to be soothing. Makes playing music on my phone from the app pointless. Overall great experience with the app though. Works best when you get frequently distracted by other devices. I block my phone completely and allow minimal function on my pc to get work done. |
| 2024-09-13 |  | | The Accessibility permissions keep deactivating. I've already removed battery optimization and allowed for admin access. It works after turning it off and back on again but it's pretty bad practice too have to remember when a block is supposed to happen and manually turning it on. EDIT: Since this seems to be a problem with OnePlus and not Freedom, I've updated the review. I wish we could schedule spontaneous breaks into sessions instead of having to manually end and restart them. |

I REALLY like that I can sync it between my phone and my computer, which is not something that a lot of these types of apps do. The pricing is very reasonable and definitely worth it to me. |
| 2024-08-20 |  | | I tried it and it's great at blocking websites and app content. Unfortunately, I can't use this as a long term solution because it severely throttles wifi and data speeds. It slowed down my connection speeds so much that even basic web pages wouldn't load. Removing the app restored my connectivity back to normal. I appreciate the free trial because it let me see how the app responded and worked on my device. |

I wish there was a function to kick you off of an app after spending a certain number of minutes on that specific app instead of just locking you out for a set time. Sometimes I don't need to be locked out of an app, just kicked off for a minute. Overall amazing. Always remember this is a tool, not an all inclusive solution. If you aren't committed you will fail. |

Cutting out distractions, using locked mode, and several different block lists have gotten me off the things that steal my time and back into the things I want to be doing. I use it on both of my computers and my phone. It is so liberating to be free of all of the easy distractions. Already recommended it to 4 other people. |
| 2024-07-16 |  | | The app is very good and the syncing actually works. 4 stars because it is not very good at blocking itself(you can end it yourself unless you have some permanent plan running and put urself on locked mode). If that system is improved(focusme is a good inspiration in that regard) then this app has the potential to become the best blocker on the market. |

For example, blocking all things to do with shopping, but make an exception for walmart because I want to be able to add things to my grocery lists whenever I think about it. Other than that this app is awesome and helpful! |
