2024-11-20 | z shock | Absolutely the worst transport app I have ever had the displeasure of using, painfully slow to load, one wrong click forces you back to the start and more often than not will stop working entirely once you reach the payment page, I have never seen an app that wants business and money less than this and adds an additional stress to every journey Update: The app has gotten far worse, it has begun removing entire routes that still exist forcing you to pay cash at a higher rate
2024-08-31 | Tudor Gwynn | Transport for Ireland really should get an award for this app. Nothing short of a huge amount of time and effort must have gone into getting a brief for an app designer so bad. The end product should have never seen the light of day and maybe just ask a designer to copy the code of an app that actually works
2024-08-20 | Ro | Very helpful app but irish transport cannot make a reliable app. Its never worked. This app is great for buying tickets but once every month or so it logs me out and does not let me back in unless I uninstall it. So every month I'll be trying to get on a bus and all of a sudden it signs me out. Happens way more than I'd like it to and I've missed buses before from having to uninstall it and reinstall it. Always carry cash because u never know.
2024-07-19 | Richella Duggan | Horrible app. You need to know exact location and often the exact number of the bus stop you'll depart from/arrive to - before you can book tickets. The menu options are painfully slow to load and it keeps freezing, then skipping back to the start. Go back to the drawing board and start again. This is awful to use.
2024-07-05 | Eoin Walsh | Ocasional ticket purchase not going through, long loading times for tickets and ticket buying options and delayed input registration when navigating app. The irish transport system is absolutely dire at the moment and this app has alot of potential to change the user experience for bus eireann but is just reinforcing the narrative of a half arsed job. As the purposed alternative to cash and leap cards, this app fails and would make you want to use any other means of purchasing bus tickets.
2024-06-28 | Gergő Motyovszki | Useless. You cannot buy a ticket unless you know the operator (should not really concern you). No search function to associate a bus line to an operator, have to click through all of them back and forth... Also, planning from A to B is not possible unless you already know the line number! Gave up and bought a ticket for cash...
2024-06-10 | Lewis Browne | Woefully bad loading times that could be fixed very easily. It's clear that the app is trying to load far too much information than it will ever use. If the drop town for tickets type is there you shouldn't load every single route every time. Equally so logging the user out is extremely counter productive. It really is a shame that the Irish continously outsource public software projects as they just become poorly thought out abandonware.
2024-05-01 | Bert Van de Putte | I advice the company to check with passengers what doesnt work. I struggled with finding the lines and stops and bus companies. Only one favourite possible, that seems weird. Ireland needs to overhaul a lot of their public transport system and information about it, and including this app. And include the irish rail please. I did manage to pay and scan.
2024-04-14 | Michael Noble | X2 tickets in cork activated, both times the activation screen came up blank. I managed to travel anyway but not before being given some hassle from the driver, as though a faulty app is my personal fault. Emailed support, no reply. Please sort it, it's not the nice experience for a tourist.
2024-03-05 | Dexter Whelan | This is a moce first step but is overall a sub-par app. So many problems like the slow loading of menu items, bugs unable to buy tickets when previous one has expired or not buying more than one ticket. Constantly being logged out. Overall very poor implementation as a daily driver and way less convenient than a regular leap card. Handy if you're stuck |
