| 2024-11-24 |  | | It's GOOD... But after I click "Save" on the new tag info, (and it does save and read correctly), it still shows the old tag info on Spotify. Oh, except for the album cover! It works as I hoped. So... Overall this is of limited use for me... But I would recommend anyone to try it! |
| 2024-10-27 |  | | Samsung galaxy s21 5g ultra - and can't use the app Only wanted to tag the mp3. Change song title and artist and album cover. 1 song, just loads and loads forever with one song. Shouldn't be that hard or need wifi or data. Such a simple change has been made so complicated. What a pain. *edit, the problem is permissions even though my phone allows all the permissions, the app when trying to edit and save. It tells me "error, could not get permission". Shame shame. Uninstall. |

Either way, getting a video ad between every file I tried to edit was the final straw. I wpuld gladly pay for an app that works, but I never got to find out. |

Only about 40% of my songs were actually properly "smart tagged", I had to go back and edit the majority of my songs as they were either tagged incorrectly as completely different songs, or the algorithm couldn't find them. Its a very handy tool if you like owning and organizing all your music like me, just be aware you might need to fine tune a lot of your songs' metadata. |

When trying to place album art, you MUST crop for no reason, and it tells me to "grant permission" and nothing ever happens but an error message. UI is not only as unintuitive and hard to figure out as they come, it is incapable of clearing the first step! Don't bother. Silly me, thinking I could save a little time on the go. Off to my PC to do this properly! |

The missing stars are for the intrusive ads that suddenly start playing with audio (imagine this when the phone is on full volume) and for the nagging to rate 5 stars every time you tag a song. "Later" and a rating of less than 5 stars just bring the request to rate 5 stars back again on the next tag, even with the paid version. |
| 2024-04-12 |  | | Pretty slick app- a companion to another called Synced Lyrics, by the same dev. This app will identify and tag the file, while its companion will help you look up and copy the lyrics to clipboard. Paste back into this app and it can embed the lyrics in the file, or create a separate folder for .lrc files. Even cooler is that it will allow you to time sync the lyrics to the music. The free apps work well together, ads are kept to a minimum. I paid for Synced, this looks like a keeper as well. |

Disappointed. Lovely easy to use app without all the confusing excess! Won't be disappointed if you need a quick edit for files that save with weird names! |
| 2023-10-20 |  | | The app does what I downloaded it for, BUT, the ads are extremely annoying. I was fine with the banner ads and the ones under the stuff in the side panel. However, after almost EVERY SINGLE TAG, a request to rate the app AND a popup/full screen one comes as well. I get that ads are necessary to get the money for keeping it in the app store, but there's still such a thing as too many. I'm gonna stick with AutomaTag, my homie, even if they need an update. |

Also, if I changed a tag via another program, this editor didn't see the update even when I re-scanned the music. There were several other clumsy work-arounds I used. However, when it worked it was a huge time-saver. |
