1st thing I saw when I opened the App was an option to Pay weekly or Yearly. why would I pay any subscription fee to anyone so I can link to my own printer?

You should not be required to pay for a subscription for a wireless printer, I hatethis cannon and Google for blackmailing people to have to use their items.

I shouldn't have to pay to print my own stuff on my own printer.

Shouldn't charge to be able to print on your own printer. That's totally wrong. Canon app us not working as it should

it's ridiculous that I bought this printer and now I'm supposed to pay a monthly fee to use it

I'm not against ads, but there's so many, I can't tell what I'm doing. Anyway, it can only find the wifi printer that every other app finds. Evidently, you gotta "subscribe" just to not be hammered by ads; FWIW, I've seen Windows Pro 11 on sale for less than a month of this. I need to use a Xerox Phaser 6500DN, which is connected via a LAN cable. It connects THROUGH the same wireless WiFi router as my wireless printers, yet I can't find a print service that can find it. Works fine in Windows.
