| 2024-11-15 |  | | Fake app. Initially was earning the equivalent of 1p per item recycled however a recent update means that you now earn less than this. Potentially an amount comparable to the equivalent cost of electricity required to charge the phone following usage of the app to recycle in the first place rendering the app redundant. To claim the cash earned you can do trusty which doesn't work or manual payment which requires an email verification, which never arrives. Making it impossible to claim. |

| 2024-11-06 |  | | UPDATE FOR NOV 2024- NEW ROLL OUT RECENTLY OF THE "NEW APP" bc they went/are public redwnlded and updated it when available, signed in US user this time since now avail. 2 of my locations from before we're actually still there but my $12.50 that i had wasn't ever cashoutable (I tried every option, including my UK MONZO CARD I LEGALLY HAVE) even my regular IBAN for any bank in US (OR GLOBALLY WHICH IS WHAT THATS FOR BTW) but it didn't even ask enough 4 it 2 work.referred 2 ppl,$20 not given yet |

No longer worth the effort to scan before recycling. Might have felt differently if they'd not removed all my coins in the update, but they did. I'm no longer motivated to share my recycling data with them. |

I no longer use their app everyone else will also leave. Bad move Bower you are more concerned with what you are getting out of it than encouraging others to recycle! |

| 2024-10-13 |  | | easy to use and scan items for recycling.. started mid September and got 1p per item. they have now changed this and you get pence for completing challenges, and xp per item. not really worth collecting xp for motivation alone. I was already recycling before and wanted some rewards for doing so. they did email to say changes were coming so can't fault them for that but still. will probably uninstall after Oct. |

Firstly all the coins accumulated previously have disappeared since the update leaving me with a zero balance and now to get 50 coins I need to scan 200 items instead of 50. No longer worth continuing with the app and will just recycle as normal. Whoever thought this was a good idea obviously needs to rethink the update and return it to a coin per scan. Account now deleted and app uninstalled. |
| 2024-10-11 |  | | As others, I'm disappointed with the update. Saying it was to ensure coins have real value is ridiculous because what it does is to ensure you get much fewer coins. There's no real point in scanning beyond the weekly mission, as scanning most brands just give XP, which has no actual value. Removing the limit on how much you can redeem per month is pointless because you will no longer get enough coins to redeem much. Gamifying the experience is also pointless because your level doesn't matter. |
