2024-11-18 | Uniz Tux | the only file manager / zip folder compressor, extractor I've ever had to use. Im constantly having to work with 7z,RAR files etc and this is the best hands down. lightweight,no ads, FREE and it even has a text editor/ viewer/ notepad included . I wish all android devices should come with this software as the default app for these tasks. Great job to the developers! I will donate to ur cause keep up the good workπ
2024-10-28 | A Google user | Amazing app, from all aspects. Seems trustworthy too β I've used this app for years (at least 5 years as of Feb. 2024) and there's no ads, no network access, and I remember no weird crashes/errors/memory leaks. Lightweight; preserves file modification timestamps during all operations; can install apps from XAPK/APKM bundle formats. Well done! However: βπ΄ Creating any archive will SILENTLY SKIP media found besides a .nomedia file, and the built-in text editor is terrible β decreasing to 3 stars.
2024-09-18 | John DN | I've had ZArchiver installed on all my smartphones over the past 7+ years and agree with the many positive reviews here. It also has the option to be able to install an apk, a feature that's now hard to find on other file managers. Thanks to the developers for their hard work and for also providing it with no ads (i.e. for free!)
2024-09-03 | Shobhit Yadav | I've relied on ZArchiver for years, and it consistently impresses me with it's speed, ease of use and wide format support. It's a must-have for anyone who works with compressed files. I must say it has extensive format support, fast performance, user-friendly interface. It is really a reliable app and my ideal choice π
2024-08-08 | Collin Godchild VonSteuben | This is a truly indispensable app. Whenever I put this app on a new device, I looked down and it says "installed on all devices," because it's one of the first apps I put on a new device, and it goes on every device I own. If you're not a simp, and you actually use an Android device like the computer that it is, this is must have software. Whoever created this program, and the fact that it's free, I thank them, bcuz I can't imagine not having Z archiver available as a file management tool.
2023-11-17 | Alex Tregubov | This is your go-to solution if your ROM doesn't have a file manager or it's way too barebones to be actually usable (pre-Pie AOSP), has none to basic archive management options (TouchWiz), or you just want a functional file management application with archiving capabilities, root access and cloud storage support. It even has a basic image viewer and a text editor if you ever need that, and can manage installation of XAPK bundles, too! Get the pro version if you can, it's well worth it.
2023-10-23 | Traveling sight (travelingsight) | Exactly what I'm looking for shows where your unzipped file is gonna be, it asks if you'd like it in the current folder or another location and shows the file path to said folders as well. One slight thing was that it didn't really ask for SD card permissions at start up and i to trigger it manually. But that's not a big deal. I haven't tried zipping up any files yet but if you want some files unzipped use this app.
2023-05-02 | Ruby Mounds | I really love this app. It's really easy to use and I would give it a 5 star rating with no complaints at all, but there's one bug that causes me to reinstall this app everytime, it's a bug where if I copy a file, the file gets corrupted and the file will be 0B also known as 0 bites, I want to share some files with my friend but this is a really annoying bug and I would like it to be fixed. Other then this, good job and the app is perfect!
2022-12-04 | Benjamin Blume | Very reliable app.. can unzip folders to enable functionality. Like when I download a game rom from the Internet. I use this app to unzip the folder and place the file in a location that my emulator can read and run the file 100% problem free! This is the only app I ever use for that and it works great.. plus has the option to delete files completely without leaving anything else to delete later, definitely recommend!! βββββ
2022-10-29 | The Barbiter | Works well. I can πππ the files I normally can't because of the changes made in Android 11 (thanks Google), but I can't actually CHANGE anything in those folders. I can't create folders, or move files into these folders, which I need for an app to work. Likely an issue with Android ITSELF, since another file manager app I've been using now has the same issue. |
