Works really well for flash card studying, appreciate that you can use it to study definition to word and word to definition

As someone who has been learning korean since 2015, ive been able to speak conversational but found no apps to expand my vocabulary with relevant words, i was lucky to find this app. If you're dedicated to using it at least once a day, you'll rapidly increase your vocabulary. Highly recommend!!!!

i bought the full version for like 2€? (so no ads but its been years since i bought it so i don't remember how much, but it was super cheap for the amount u get out of it) u can put in ur own words, u can prioritise which category u want to learn, u can put in ur own pictures, example sentences and audio (there is an option for that, full disclosure i never added any audio myself). i honestly recommend it to anyone who HATES learning vocabs bc this somehow works (and i HATE learning vocabs)

Great app, has many vocab categories to choose from, option to make your own categories, you can study multiple cat. at the same time and the interlaping words don't repeat, the app suggests translations when creating cat., lets you choose if you want to review via choosing or typing the answer, has SRS. You can get by easily if you don't wanna pay for the full version, but given the fact that the lifetime version costs about as much as a better Latte, i think it's definitely worth buying.

I really like that they put up an algorithm for me to continuously review the vocab, and the choices of words are really fun, also that the app gives you a graph on the time and words you have learned. In my honest opinion, I think the app should add a quize in order for me to really grasp the word and not easily forget it! I would recommend to anyone that is looking to be serious in this language. Don't give up because this app really helps!

It's a very good app. I have it configured so the "quizzes" are all the type-in-the-answer kind. I chose this app over anki because I like the user interface better. You can pick from different word banks and it also let's you choose to not learn a word if you already know it. There are two things that could improve: the number of words available (it has only 3000 at the moment), and being able to add pictures to the cards (or better yet, having *good quality* pictures already added).

I'd really like the ability to choose whether to practice words I've flagged as "I know", or "only learn new words". The only option is a mix, and it can get very repetitive. For instance it will keep hammering you with the same couple words over and over until you claim to "know" them, rather than moving on.

It's good that it has the option for typing words because Korean spelling is tough. haha I wish it had separate modes for typing and multiple choice quizzes though (e.g. if I were to select multiple choice, it will be purely multiple choice. If I were to select typing only, then I'll be typing only) than having to select the mode in every question. For improvement, it would also be.nice to have the words used in sentences for better context as many words may mean the same but depend on context

Pros: it has a full list of flash cards (3000 words). If you do want to add your own words, you can. The app also generally behaves like other apps (e.g. anki). Cons: the app recently introduced romanization, but romanization is frowned upon because there's no 1:1 direct relationship. A number of the romanizations are generally wrong and you can't disable them. The app also tends to notify you for a single word and then another word will be ready in another minute.
