2024-10-26 | L C | App half works and is very glitchy. Says you can go back ti see previous names but doesn't work. Same names over and over. If you want to have any other customization, more names or filters you need to pay and it's stupid expensive for what you get, especially when every where else allows you to look at names for free. Would be better if the app actually worked and wasn't a cash grab. Also, the meaning of names almost ruins all names I previously liked. ex. Carter - someone who pushes carts🤣🤣
2024-03-13 | Wendy Gutierrez | Repeats a lot of names, filters often don't work or say they ran out of names in less than 50 swipes. Option to add your own name to send to partner only works if that name isn't in the system already, and doesn't let you choose to send THAT name to your partner. Often gets stuck on the "Wow looks like you've swiped through all the names" page even after closing out the app and going back in, or changing the filter. Overall, stick with the free features. Paid ones are not worth it.
2023-01-19 | Morgan Forsythe | I really like the idea behind this app, but there are a few details that could use some polish. The match notifications can be very distracting and I wish I could disable them while using the app. The app also keeps throwing names at me that I've already rated (exact matches, not just alternate spellings). That's a waste of time and very annoying.
2022-05-21 | Troy Enderle | I keep getting the same names repeated. You can't select names from a list and have to swipe left or right. This makes it physically tiring. After swiping around 20-30 names quickly to the left I skip a name I liked before I realized it. I wish they had more filter options such as Biblical names. Without warning you get blasted in full volume with a video of a ad that makes you pay to remove. The vast majority of names are obscure.
2022-03-03 | Heather Thomas | Used this 3 years ago for our first pregnancy and loved the customization options whichever we could really specify the themes you'd like to focus on for the baby names. Now that it's our second pregnancy, we are using the app again and see so many things lacking. There's a total lack of name category options so I'm wasting so much time weeding through culturally irrelevant names that I once did not have to experience.
2021-11-24 | Tim Grieb | It's a cool way to bond as a couple and try to find names you like. The names are pretty obscure and weird at times, but I guess that might be the point at times. The worst part is that loud annoying ads start playing unmuted with no warning, even with my phone on silent. If I wasn't working from home, I'd have uninstalled because of that.
2021-09-26 | Megan Fecher | After hearing about the app, I thought it would be fun and a painless way to agree on a name. After 4 minutes or less of swiping I would say to stick to the old fashion way and baby name books. There were two commercials and 2 prompts to review the app within that short period of time as well as zero names worth swiping "yes". Although that is a matter of opinion, it started out with either incredibly weird names that literally no one has or would ever have or basics like James, Daniel etc.
2021-06-27 | Kelsey Gaughan | Great idea, but my partner and I both downloaded it and it won't let us sync our profiles. We send the text or message invite to each other and we both get a "502 bad gateway" error. Not sure what's going on but if we can't link up it kind of defeats the purpose of the app. (My only guess is that I have an Android and he has an IPhone, but that would be pretty frustrating if that's whats causing the issue.)
2020-11-10 | Erin McDermott | Good concept, could use some work. The swipe right to like isn't sensitive enough so sometimes even if you try to swipe to like it the name will bounce left which is EXTREMELY frustrating. You can remove things from your liked list but you can't go back to see what names you didn't, it would be better if it erred on the side of liking too many than not enough.
2020-03-29 | A Google user | I swiped right on a series of about 10 names before I realized I was doing it backwards. I would love a way to delete those names from my "I like" list. Something as simple as a long press and delete. It will be even more useful to have that feature as my husband and I start discussing and eliminating names. I already paid for the "undo" feature and that doesn't even work. There are some issues that need to be fixed to make it more user friendly. |
