2024-09-05	Ranya Doukali	I loved this app. I'd had it for years and it kept all of my notes safe and secret from my family looking through my phone. I had multiple sections in it, and since it's so hard to find another notes app that locks, I stuck with it. One day, I open the app and it completely self destructs. I uninstall it because it logged me out and won't load. When I reinstall it it doesn't appear as an app on my phone and every time I open through the app store, it only has half the notes I've ever written. :(
2024-07-30	A J	App has nice features and takes notes. However, for a "Private Notepad" it makes an incredible amount of continuous outboud connections to the internet. I have some suspicion it is not very private. On top of this, it is programmed by a lone programmer who may or may not be trustworthy. Sure you want to take your chances?
2024-07-24	Bobby	It's a good app. I've been using it for years. Unfortunately it's not going to work for me anymore. I used it to write lyrics. I've emailed them previously in the past to have the record button moveable because it's in the way while I record. I can't fully see my lyrics while recording. I recently hit the maximum amount of voice attachments. I will not be upgrading for $69.99. I think it's way over priced. I'm not sure why we are limited 40 attachments. If you don't need attachments go for it.
2024-02-04	Steve	Pretty good so far, reasonable price and good features for the premium subscription and all features work well as described. One thing to make it better would be being able to select a sort order in check lists to make the app list items in alphabetical order. Update.... Also you should be able to tap and hold titles in notes view, in order to select multiple notes, and move them to a folder rather than having to open each one and move it individually from that note's menu the way it is now.

On this app if you forget your password you are in big trouble.i. You are locked out of you account. I think that this should be explained in detail. There is a lot of good free storage on the Internet. People can store their passwords or store it on their Google account when they t Up load the stored. Notes.
2023-08-25	Riley Sinclair	I enjoy the app greatly and I did buy the full version, but my main qualm is the fact that when I'm making or editing a note, especially a long one, it scrolls me all the way to the bottom while I'm mid scrolling up or typing. It'll bring me back to the line I'm on if I type, but the moment I stop typing it forces me to the bottom again. It's only a minor inconvenience, but it gets really annoying when I'm in the middle of a long note trying to edit, and it keeps scrolling. Good app otherwise!!
2023-08-17	Reese Swartzendruber	Had an issue where my notes wouldn't load but the problem was quickly resolved once I contacted support! I love this app, and I only didn't give 5 stars because there's room for improvement. I think having a scroll bar rather than having to manually swipe down to the bottom of my notes would really streamline things, and a way to organize notes into subcategories would be amazing. Overall a very good app and I highly recommend using it to anyone looking for a secure and easy digital notebook.
2023-05-04	Jen Elms	This has been my favorite app for Years! Easy to use, seemingly bulletproof, secure, uses cloud for syncing w my handful of other devices. I love to write and take notes, sometimes long notes, and this app doesn't bat an eye. I have other basic notes apps but Private Notepad rises above others in functionality by leaps and bounds. It's a great tool. Grateful to the creator. His customer service is always fast and excellent.
2023-05-01	Fairy Duckling	It was great but suddenly broke after the last update. Lost all my passwords and my notes won't load. Nothing works. I had projects in there months in the making and now it's all GONE! I am so viscerally upset. I lost important passwords! In fact I lost ALL my passwords! While my notes section as a whole won't open, my passwords are just gone entirely! The section loads and the passwords are missing! Beyond dissapointed.
2022-03-03	Robby.b93	It's very easy to use. I'm using the paid version. I'm literally sharing my notes via wifi from a notpad on my old phone to this app on that same device, and watching as those same notes appear within the app on my new phone. I refresh the notes by simply pulling down within the app but, it's nothing. The only downside is that I must share each one by one but, I figured I don't need all my notes, just the ones that hold most value.
