2024-11-29 | David Donovan | I love this app! Everyday it sends me a little nugget of wisdom, sometimes funny, sometimes thought-provoking. The only effort was downloading it which was trivial, and the benefits show up everyday. If you are a thoughtful, philosophical person, someone who likes to think deeply about life and how we can best live it, this is a love, really resource.
2024-11-09 | DB de' Rosas | Very spiritual, healing as well as motivation for everyday life. A quote to elivate your spiritual mindset for however the challenges of the day are. This is a great app that provides a quote that both enlightens as well as to help stabilize your mindset for what the day may bring.
2024-11-06 | Nathan | While I like The Stoic app from the same creator (which sends quote notifications daily and has been working well for years) this one simply doesn't send notifications. Despite changing settings within the app and excluding the app from power saving measures on the device I still don't receive daily notifications and end up forgetting I even have the app installed. As such in the end I simply don't use it and forget it's even on my phone. Good material in the app though.
2024-08-19 | Alexander Beattie | I have had this app on my phone for a while. Over 2 years. And it is great when notifications work and it comes up with its daily quote like it's supposed to but every time without fail a few days or weeks after I set it , the notifications stop and I forget about the app again for a few months.
2024-08-18 | Samuel Patton | I appreciate waking up each morning and reading quotes from the teachers of old. It has an excellent choice between eastern, western, ancient, and modern teachers. Being able to read a brief summary of the teachers is a treat as well. If you are looking for a casual philosophy experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend Zen Enso.
2024-08-06 | Brandon Baehman | Great, but it gets really annoying how the daily quotes won't stay on the notification bar. I've tried everything. I thought for sure every day at 6 it would reappear, but no, I have to go into the app settings and hit sticky and unstick notifications to get it to reappear for the day. Very frustrating when it's the one feature I want to work.
2024-06-06 | Joel | Very good app with thought provoking quotes. I recently paid for it to support the dev. One small thing I do like to see would be the ability to chose from what collection the quotes come individually;like morning quote from "all", afternoon from my collection and evening from stoics for example. Thanks to the dev for the great app, keep it up👍
2024-02-11 | Vaibhav Bansal | Gives me good start for the day. Though there are alot more quotes from various other sources which can be added(mostly found on goodreads/quora etc).( Like sure they belong to movie dialogs and so.... but, they have a different kind of depth given the context; Maybe add them too???[Feature Request])
2023-07-24 | Blake Blackmon | I love this app! Gives me something new to ponder every day. Update July 24, 2023: App crashes everything I open it. Sometimes when it doesn't crash, as soon as I hit the refresh button it will crash. Please fix
2023-05-15 | T to the G | This app is awesome! Creator really want philosophy, zen, and stoicism to be shared. You will see many quotes/writings before you a slide basically saying just chill bro take it in let settle reflect on what you just read. But let's you continue like hey it's your life. Maybe one ad every 30-40 passages but really why do you need to read that many at one sitting anyways reflect on it and let settle. Also very user friendly can save, share, organize and filter in many ways. Love it! |
