2024-10-28 | Romany Ebaid | Great app, and an amazing reminder of great philosophy. I just hope you add the option share as an image, it would be way better.
2022-03-05 | guinea horn | I only use this app for the daily quotes and they haven't worked in years. I emailed support via the app months ago and never heard anything back. I also use "the stoic" by the same publisher and I get quotes from that app every day but never from Greek wisdom. So basically to me this app is useless, even though the content is great when it works.
2022-01-02 | Bradley Farless | The new Rewards box is stuck on the screen. Tapping it does nothing. Tapping next to it does nothing. The rest of the screen is grayed out looking and the Reward box blocks text.
2021-11-29 | Jeremiah Lipscomb | read it daily and write the quotes in my journal entries. It would be really cool if I could set the daily changing quotes as a lock screen or wallpaper. Maybe a widget for having it change it. Or the ability to make my own folders and save the quotes in them to separate them as I see fit. Then I can set the screen to use a folder on rotation when I'm feeling down or confused.
2021-07-10 | Oliver Springate-Baginski | The app is in many ways excellent - especially as it is provided free and the adds are not intrusive. The weakness is that there is no attempt to reference the quotations, and the translation version. This seem amateurish. Where are these quoted from? Can we be certain they are not misquote or worse?
2021-04-13 | T. Padilla | I adore this app SO much! I remember studying these philosophers in college and it is so cool to be able to have a quote in the beginning of the day to remind me to reflect. I'd rather not have a mindfulness reminder in the morning, instead it's nice to have a reminder to pick up my current book of philosophy I'm rereading so I can be introspective and grateful in other ways. While not all the authors I've read are Greek, the sentiment is still there. Thanks so much! :D
2020-12-04 | Alistair S. | This is exactly what I expected, and what I wanted. Bite sized quotes delivered in periodic notifications. Clear text, good reads by good authors. Thank you. 10/10
2020-07-22 | Avery Haynes | I would honestly have to say that I would recommend it. I would like to thank the developer personally that some of the quotes that have been coming in and I just got this installed and started using it but some of the quotes been very relevant to my life and very profound and I do really appreciate it I actually take screenshots and then save them for later so that I don't forget how important it is as a simple quote from Plato or somebody even if it's 10 words or less is life-changing
2020-06-20 | Itekena Iyowuna | The only reason I didn't give a five star is because of a feature missing that I think will be great. I feel this app should have a feature integrated, to place quotes on images then either share them or save them on device or even both. The You Version bible app has the feature where you can place bible verses on stock photos or images on device, they even have ready made photos with the bible verses on the internet.
2020-05-05 | Bert Crosser | I would like to give it 5stars as im a big fan of the idea behind the app and love The Stoic app the devs made, just can't get over the fact that for nearly a year now (even deleted and redownloaded) it's been glitching when i try present via the square button in the top right hand corner it always tries to push an ad which fails and thus fails to present the qoute, with that fixed im happy to change this to 5stars |
