2024-08-12 | Jeff Brosius | Slick UI, but there are way too many grammatical errors and even coding errors within the examples themselves to trust that the content is accurate. (Example: Newline "\n" characters are scattered throughout examples, but instead of actually starting a new line, they are just printed within the code snippet, making it hard to read.) Have already tried uninstall/reinstalling with no improvement and have requested refund through play store.
2024-06-02 | Trey Martin | This app is a simple and easy way to learn the very basics of Python. At the time of this review, it is about $15 to unlock all of the course. Don't expect to be able to build much of anything after completion. It is good to help you get an idea if programming could be something you would enjoy doing, that's about it. Honestly you would be better off buying a book. Python Crash Course or Automate The Boring Things With Python are two good ones to get you started.
2024-04-13 | Chris Rummery | Downloaded and purchased Pro on the app 2 days ago. Since then, everytime I login it tells me that I don't have pro.... if it even starts. Most of the time it gets stuck on the start up/loading screen. I've contacted customer support but nobody has fixed the issue. They told me to reinstall the app. I did. Nothing is fixed. It still doesn't say I have pro, even though I have my bank statement saying I paid for it.
2024-01-23 | Evelyn the kitty (Cats are cute) | This app is great. It's details are just amazing and it really helps you get an understanding between python coding. The platform is just amazing. The questions are great for you because you can remember your answers. Also, there isn't a stupid certain amount of lives that you have. Luckily, if you get the answer wrong like 2 or 3 times it shows the answers. This app is just so good. It shows you the basics and stuff and I'm sure it will show the harder stuff once you get better at the basics. ✨
2024-01-22 | Brian Bedard | I paid for the pro version and it never registered in the app. I keep getting the ad to go pro and an limited in the app. I deleted the app and reinstalled with no change. I even tried on a second phone under the same id. I emailed support and never heard back. Half the time the app doesn't load. I've tried it on 2 phones. Seems like a scam to me.
2023-12-22 | Blake Zbikowski | App is okay. I initially installed to try the free selection to see if it was worth buying, but it's all theory with no practice. They give an example, but don't take the user through an exercise to test the knowledge conveyed. If that's the intro to the app and meant to represent it's functionality, it's a bit lackluster. Onto the next.
2023-11-28 | Jamie Brizendine | Feels like a scam. Purchased for Black Friday. Google Pay processed the payment. My bank processed it. However on the apps end, there is a problem. Support sucks so far. The app doesn't recognize the Google Account all of a sudden. Buyer beware. You get nothing for the $14.99 Black Friday sale. No code. Just a deduction from your funds. Less than zero rating. I see the automated response below. Same bull$h!t I get in the emails Its been days of automated responses. They haven't refunded. -1*
2023-11-27 | Jessyca | Tried the app to see if I could learn Python this way and I felt like it was a waste of my time. It was a bunch of talking at me and no tasks to actually learn the material. I got through all the free material in a few minutes and didn't find enough value to feel that paying the money to go pro would be worth it. If you have a pay wall, at least make the free portion exciting enough that I want to see what else there is. They failed in doing this, even at the Black Friday rate.
2023-10-30 | William Hunter | Pro version it's not worth it. Documentation is incomplete and sometimes inaccurate. Maybe good for a very novice programmer. But definitely not professional. Update: I would not recommend the app for novice level either. There is no real hands-on training. The multiple choice questions testing do not refine your knowledge, but are a lame attempt at assessing your attention minor details. Often there are errors and omissions, which can be harmful to early learners. Horrible app and a waste of $
2023-10-15 | Jacob Owns | 7 years ago I took a course in game programming in college and we had to use Python, I dropped out first semester because I couldn't comprehend the language and the professor could only teach out of the book, he failed to give constructive feedback and everything felt like it was on a timer.. I feel like I'm learning a lot more from this app and I can do it at my own pace.. and it's a free for the most part education. |
