2024-05-02 | BrysNightWorld | Like other reviews have said . The one channel monoblock does not save eq settings Meaning Everytime you turn your car on, or in my case, computer power supply. It resets it's settings. The gain is saved yes! But it always resets to 300hz and 10 bass boost. But the 2 channel amp does save all its settings! So I'm so confused.
2023-11-27 | Shawn F | I wish I could give it 0 stars; unfortunately. The app and amp (xda91rb / Wal-Mart) work "good," but unless you want to turn on your Bluetooth, location, and adjust your EQ settings each time you use it, do not buy it. It does not save your settings after you power on each time. Let me say that again. It does NOT keep your settings stored, so you have to dial it in again each time you turn it on; regardless of Bluetooth etc. Horrible waste of time and money!!!
2023-11-19 | Brian Slingerland | This app is quite possibly the worst app I've ever encountered in my 10+ years installing car and home audio. Started doing both when I was 15 yrs old (now 51) I've done 300+ car audio systems, which a high percentage now use mobile apps to control an amp or head unit or processor. Installing a XDA92BR 600WATT OCTANE AMP. App is only control which connects via Bluetooth accurately 37% of the time. Amp is worth every penny if it could be controlled. I thru the amp in the trash. Do not buy.
2023-11-10 | Zena's Express, LLC | You too have now jumped in the bandwagon of selling customer's info? My phone pairs up w my sony BT car stereo w/o requesting my location. 1st, having the location on all the time greatly shortens battery life. The app is already paring up to the amp via Bluetooth. How is the "location request relevant" to be able to manipulate the settings. BT fails w time, that will render this amp useless. All one needs to adjust is the LPF and volume, which you only do it once. U get "0" stars jensen.
2023-10-09 | CJ Cody | Has the most basic functions, no real dsp on the monoblock. The preset EQ buttons vanish right as the app connects, so all I get is basic frequency response/very BASIC crossover adjustment with slope, bass boost gain, and the master level plus the LED section. If that's what the app intends, then there are no real DSP functions as all of those are BASIC amplifier adjustments for the mostly. I have the XDA91RB monoblock and I can say the quality of the bass is really good for such a cheap amp.
2023-09-29 | Ezra Smith | HOW TO FIX DISCONNECT: DO NOT RUN APP BEFORE DOING THIS you have to connect it via your actual Bluetooth option in your phone settings. If your amp doesn't show up in your Bluetooth it's because the amp thinks it's already connected because you launched the app. To fix this issue remove the positive cable that connects your amp to your battery and wait 30 seconds to allow the amp to reset it's internal cache. Once powered Back on search for devices in Bluetooth and it will be there. Now run app
2023-09-24 | John Hudson | App used to work really good. Never had a problem up until earlier this year with the last update. Now,it won't connect to my amp. It finds it when I manually scan but still won't connect. Still a great set of amps from Jensen. But the app is the clincher for the purchase and without it,well it's like buying half an amp....need more updates more often please. I own 3 of these amps and the app doesnt work for any of them unfortunately
2023-04-20 | Zakia Lee | Pretty decent. Really wish there was a bit more to it. Doesn't have much for Crossover, or anything like that, but it will get you there. Now seeing other reviews, I have the XD series which works just fine. Had a few connection issues last update, but this one fixed the problems.
2023-01-04 | Bob Hicken | Wasn't the best but since the last android update it now has issues. It will not connect to the amp. Some stupid thing like permissions or how Bluetooth works needs to be addressed before this app will work. Sucks not being able to change the settings that the amplifier offers. Developer needs to fix this problem ASAP!
2023-01-03 | Nick Tonniges | Version 2.42 worked great. Since the most recent update I have not been able to connect to my amp at all. The adjust on the fly features with the Bluetooth capability was nice until I could no longer connect to my amplifier in any way. Considering tossing the entire amp in the garbage now that it is inaccessible. Very disappointed. |
