Its a rather cut down version of what it was, so its just a noise maker for produceing sound at specific frequencies. So as a dog whisle it will work, but you will have to remember the fequencys you use and stuff

Highly Adaptable. We have 2 dogs that respond to different frequencies. I have made 2 sets of sounds that each dog responds to. I just have to hit each dog's name and they stop what they were doing and come to me.
