2024-11-22 | Elena Williams | This worked very well and they let you use free even when the fax number was not an 800. I was in a pinch and trief another app which said the number was not a fax number. Checked w my Secretary of State I was told it did work. It worked just great here and I was notified that it went through. This is not common nowadays to let you use something for free even one time they should be commended. All the other apps set free but they were not thank you very much as State wouldn't take a PDF
2024-11-04 | Ann Marie Marziliano | Was great to use until you pay, then the service is questionable. I was only trying to pay for the add'l pages (20 cents ea.) beyond the first 10 pages which were free, instead the app defaulted to a $17.99 plan & charged my paypal acct. The app also alluded I was going to be charged a monthly fee! I tried to cancel thru app, cant find that anywhere, despite help button showing where to go, was forced to block them thru Paypal. I have sent 4 emails thru the app asking for my $$ back, no response
2024-07-30 | John C Roosa | I have tried several times to fax from my phone and my iPad but keep getting errors. I verified the number on the other end and I have sufficient page credits to fax but nothing. Very frustrating since I used this before and it was fine. Update? Bugs? I am perplexed. Amendment; I have found an error at the receiving side of the system. My rating has changed. Apologies!
2024-07-15 | Ken Wilson | I had to convert the standard doc for to word format for get it to work and then the fax program screwed up the formatting even more. It stretched a1 page letter into 3 pages. The good part is it did send what I needed sent and didn't cost. It's the best option I have found for someone like me who only needs to fax a few pages every 4-6 months
2024-07-01 | Lindsay Phelps | While the description states you get to fax for free, you only get a handful or two of pages. I was disappointed about this misrepresentation of what is actually offered as "free", but I can honestly say that I caved and ended up paying as they appeared to be cheaper and much more secure than other fax apps I had browsed. I like that you can choose a set number of pages to purchase rather than having a monthly membership, as I only send maybe 6 pages max a month.
2023-08-24 | Todd Ward | The good: The app works well. I have been able to send and receive faxes usually without any problem. Regarding functionality I have no major issues. The bad: The service will increase pricing with no warning and no option to cancel and get a refund if you realize that the service is not worth the increased cost. My basic plan was $59.99 for the year but has now gone up to $83.99. If I cancel even though I have not used the service since the renewal... I lose the whole $83.99. Be aware.
2022-10-28 | Ray C | I read lots of reviews for other apps before I used Fax Plus. The installation and setup is fast and easy. The user interface is clean, using the app is very easy. In no time at all my fax was on it’s way. I sent a jpg file, it informed me it was “sending”. Once sent I received a notification from the app and an email to that effect. I called the place I sent the fax to, and they received it. I was never asked for a credit card or any other payment method. A breeze to use, and works great.
2022-02-15 | Kidnappingfreezers | My previous review posted but is no longer here, strange. I rated 1 star because I had difficulty creating an account with a google email on both the app and browser. I was able to create one with a non-google email but it's not what I wanted to associate it with. The fax never sent, just disappeared. Not in Sent folder either. Edit: I keeps failing them for "insufficient credit". The apps says it's entirely free. Either I'm missing something or it isn't.
2021-05-10 | Steve E G | It works. But...ten free pages means EVER. AND, I needed to test my home fax set up...tried several times, some failed, but somehow the 5 tries and 3 fails left me with just 3 free pages. I'm not sure how that math works...I did set up a cover page (it uses your free pages up???), so four pages came through. Six did not. Did I get dinged a page for each failed attempt? I would be far more likely to keep the app if I got free pages each month...this way...not so much.
2021-01-11 | Weavre Molina | I signed up for a free trial, 10 pages total, and sent one fax (two pages) on December 25. Today, I tried to send another fax (also two pages) when my partner could see, to confirm we want to buy it. Today's fax wouldn't send; it said we have insufficient credit. But, the free trial says it's supposed to include 10 pages total. We don't want to buy into something that appears to promise something specific, even something as simple as 10 free pages of faxes, and then doesn't deliver that thing. |
