| 2024-11-25 |  | | Edit: Still love the app but unable to change IP address in the FTP Server now. ----------- Best file manager for Android. Couldn't find file/folder syncing with the option to create multiple syncs. Definitely would be a welcome addition. Regardless, this app is top notch! |

| 2024-10-26 |  | | Solid Explorer has been solid for me for years. I personally didn't run into issues until this last update (Oct 2024). Now roughly twice a week I run into issues. Sometimes it won't display images in SE viewer. Sometimes the app won't open at all; it just shows a dark screen with a large app icon in the center. Force Stop and clearing cache doesn't help. I have to restart my device to get it working again. I'm hoping a future update will fix it, but I'm looking for a replacement anyway. |

It only appears when you hold tap to select a file(s) in the folder. This would increase usability on taller phones. Edit: My purchase is no longer being recognized and using Restore Purchases does nothing. |
| 2024-10-11 |  | | Liking it so far... only i have an issue. whenever i go to dropbox and upload an image to it and try to share it.. it says "unable to retrieve the link" please fix this... Edit: Now the app keeps crashing every time i try to add a new ftp server. at least make it to where i can save the server anyways and not force me to connect to it first so i can get around the crash. Edit2: Ok after the update, it's working now. (that was a fast fix) |
| 2024-09-25 |  | | Owned this forever. Cleared Play Store data and cache, still not restoring my purchase. This happened a few weeks ago but restore purchase worked at that time. Had to clear it again twice and now it restored. Why is this happening. Please fix whatever the problem is. I don't want to be doing this frequently. FYI, device works flawlessly, no issues! |

This is why I hate google play, and these devs need to give us a better way to puchase with in hand keys. Unacceptable, and I didn't even do a system change. Yes, I changed my rating, tired of buying apps multiple times. Not just them either. |

I'm not sure how on Google Play my old purchase of Pro (icon is correct) became a purchase of Google Meet (was there ever a paid version of Meet?) when I click on the icon. I'd venture an additional payment, but I'm not sure how long that would stick. I think this is the third time a glitch has happened. Update 9/5/24. Seems I have another device using a different Play Store account, and somehow, there is an occasional mixup. The key checker seems to get the incorrect email. |

FULL REVIEW: I've been using the app since 2015. THE GOOD; it's got an easy-to-use layout, an ok amount of tools, and nice theme customization. THE BAD; it forgets purchased upgrade, and the troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue. The FTP access is very useful but it struggles with connecting consistently or at all. I WOULD recommend this to a friend 👍 |
| 2024-08-15 |  | | Worked great on past phones, but now you have to push the back button slowly or it refreshes the same folder endlessly. So if you want to go up two levels you'd normally hit the Android back button twice. Now you have to pause about half a second between each press. Been this way for 3 years across multiple high-end devices. Update: With Jul/Aug 2024 update, can no longer access LAN locations, always access denied. Multiple PCs. About had it with this app. |
