2024-11-04 | Erika Amato | It's not pro quality. Unfortunately, there was no free trial so you could see what features were available, so I took the rush and signed up for a year (heavy discount), immediately regretted it, and tried to cancel (within minutes), but I'm still being charged for the full year. I will never use this app. I already have better ones on my phone. My fault for believing the hype.
2024-05-28 | Coa Parker | I would give this negative stars if I could. You have to pay for EVERYTHING. none of the filters work they just turn blue and if you want to put a filter on a photo you have to watch and ad on top of everything else. It is ridiculous. This app used to be free completely but now it's filled with ads, subscriptions, and malfunctioning features.
2024-04-21 | Gregarious | Do not waste your time. When you start to try and use the app, first it makes you log into your google account, even if you are logged in through the browser, then it opens up edge and tells you you don't have the right chrome extention downloaded, then when you download that extention, it allows you to install it on your phone, basically, it gives you a runaround of pointless tasks and never does whatever it is that it claims to do (which was never clear) This is not a valid service or softwar
2023-12-05 | nouvel-soleil | I used to love polarr, but ever since they started making you watch 30 second ads to download a single picture and started pushing polarr premium, i've been using it less and less. it's just annoying because I've loved this app since 2020, and now, their clear priority of revenue over user experience is just making me delete the app. Plus, you can't even adjust the settings after you add a filter without being told you need to pay for polarr premium. there's literally no reason to get this app.
2023-09-27 | pici | i used to be able to vouch for this app to the ends of the earth, and now it's gone down a rabbithole of cashgrabs. don't waste your time and money, especially if you're completely new to this app. EDIT: it has gotten CONSIDERABLY WORSE since i made my review originally in 2022. every single notable feature is locked behind a paywall. i can understand ads and a FEW restrictions, but making to where you can't access saved filters and a limit of only three saved filters is extremely scummy.
2023-09-01 | kawaroki | I've been using this app for years due to it's commendable quality when it comes to editing photos. It's genuinely an awesome tool that can really bring your photos to life. Though it's been disappointing to see a lot of the great features locked behind a paywall, at least it acknowledges its worth in some sense. Even though I've decided not to subscribe, there's still a lot of things you can experiment with. 👍
2023-07-29 | Phin (Boldsuperking) | Great for the amount I use. The only problem is that the subscription services are horrible. Specifically when you want to use polarr for both computer and mobile. They say there is a plan for it, but the plan does not go across all platforms when I try it. Really hope they can add it to the platform. It would be a wonderful addition!
2023-01-21 | BladysV | Polarr was my go to app whenever I had to edit a photo, but now that even basic features are pay-walled, I no longer recommend it. If you do pay for the subscription keep in mind that most of the features you are paying for, (ex: Sharpness, film grain, HSL control) are completely free in other photo editing apps or programs.
2022-04-30 | ʚ wombsnuff | This app was and still is somewhat my go to app for editing .. However, since I updated it, it's been very glitchy. Almost all my old filters have a black screen glitch over it, despite the instant export image being clear. When I save it, it's COMPLETELY covered in this black glitch. I've updated it and regret it. I just want to use my old filters with no issues.
2022-04-25 | Nancy Truong | 4/25/22 newer updates still do not work properly. No face recognition. Sticking to Dec 2021 update. 2/16/22: Newer updates don't work with older phones (I have a pixel 4A for reference). installed a version from Dec 2021 that fixed the issue. EDIT on 2/6/22. Now the face recognition tool does not work on any photo and it doesn't recognize backgrounds or people really close to cancelling my subscription. What happened to the vintage styles? The ease at which one could add filters? |
