Annoyed. I just updated my blog to this latest app version of WordPress because the older version I was using is not designed for the latest version of Android. After reading the "About this app" details I was fine with the upgrade because the features i used were included. Yet once I updated, WordPress informed me that to continue to have access to the reader and notifications, I had to download and switch to Jetpack. In other words, I feel I have been fed a bit of bait and switch. Not happy.

Ok, but features on web version missing from app, that shouldn't be. (Both Wordpress and Jetpack.) Portfolio, for example. It is a special type of post, but still a post. And so it should be able to be used in-app, but isn't present. (Even when portfolio is enabled on the web version.) Makes it a real pain when a site is primarily made of portfolio post/pages.

I like the format of this app and I wanted to get a more accurate reading of what data I use instead of using the browser. However the app is very slow and clunky. As I'm typing in the block and reach the end of the block, it doesn't open up as I am typing more. Also the app is often unresponsive even though Android isn't picking up on that. I have had to force close the app in order to continue. It makes it difficult when typing a blog and takes longer.

I used to have a 5 star rating. Not anymore. This latest incarnation of the app is more bloatware. Slow to load, poor layout, overengineered crud. It's like the developers said: 'Hey, we have greaf stuff on our apps that people like and are fast, what if we turned a great product into utter refuse?! That'll bring in the users!" Seriously. I am even getting out of memory errors when trying to write a blog post! I'm sory, is 64GB RAM on a cellphone no longer enough memory to post text?!

WP App vs. WP Site through browser: it's actually better to go through a browser than it is to use the WPS app. Most often regardless of bandwidth regardless of connection it is completely impossible to work. Most posts come in either broken or unable to be accessed. The worst part about it is it is completely unusable at this time. If in the future I try this out hopefully it will change. Currently it sucks!!!

Long time 'user' and I've reacquainted or reunited with the App recently. I Blog and Journal mostly and that was the original purpose, but now I can ideally use it for more types of sharing. It's as good as the original version and then some. Especially when realizing my old information is still available (pics as well). That was a nice surprise. I don't normally score things with a 10 but currently I have no words... 😑🤔😅☯️

Very confusing. Going to it through the app is different than online through Chrome. Many times the header features are missing and cannot get into photos to add a photo to the article. But the display format is very good. I am not informed as to whether the Public even sees these posts but I am not concerned about that anyways. It is true that no one can help anyone unless they can first help themselves. I am doing this for myself anyways! (Luke 6:39-42)

The more updates, the worse this app gets. It used to be a pretty, polished app. Now, it's stark and wacky looking. There used to be a couple of suggested blog posts from other bloggers at the bottom of each post. There used to be a listing of blog responders at the end of a post. I found many wonderful blogs that way. Both of those neat features are gone. The fonts on the app are wacky. The icons are different from the web Reader. Roll back to Jan. 2020. This is terrible.

Pretty Bad. Every 2 sentences I have to save, back out, reopen and continue, repeat. If you try to bold or italicize words there is a terrible delay and half the time it deletes whatever you've written instead of italicizing it. If you hit save it takes forever or doesn't respond, then forces you out and most of the time when you come back it only saved about half of what you wrote! Haha It's honestly a literal nightmare for writers. Thanks, I hate it.

Ever since the update bringing block out of beta, the app has issues when composing an article. It has trouble keeping the cursor up to speed with the typing, the cursor gets "lost" beneath the bottom edge of the block, and ypu have to wait sometimes upwards of a full minute before the app expands the block to show your written text. And thats if the app remembers what you've written when it finally expands the block or starts a new paragraph block, which can take a whole other minute or so.
