Unless Im missing something this app s**** for political race articles, what I use it for the most. The heading for a presidential race on the website shows candidates, party, results in percent and count etc, extremely useful quick glance information as well as a link to the previous and next election, the app displays none of this and requires you to scroll to the results section of the article. You have to open the website link in incognito mode to avoid using the app. Considering deleting

I love Wikipedia, but the functionality on the website is so much better. You can't sort the tables and the way they delineate the sections is much clunkier. There are some things like the random article feature which are cool, but it's not enough to offset the poor functionality. I look forward to re-installing this when they fix those things.

Just got a new phone and was disapointed my saved lists did not transfer. To prevent this issue in the future I tried creating an account soley to sync saved lists, not to edit pages, only to find that I've been blocked from creating an account. Having a vetting process for editing pages makes sense, globally blocking a user from syncing lists across devices is dumb. 5 stars otherwise.

This app is very useful to have. One flaw is that in dark backgrounds, you can not view the colors of, for example, sports jerseys in the article's graphics. It invariably appears black or white. You would have to switch to a white background to see what colors the team wears.

Mostly good but it messes up when I try to open a link from Firefox in the app, like it will display the wrong image and if I refresh it it will go to an entirely different page, which is very frustrating. Also I really don't get the 100 tab limit at all but if that has to exist it would be *very* nice to have a setting to close tabs after x days or some other way to keep them under control.

The interface in the app is just not as good as the website, and takes away features that even the mobile website has. My issues: Minimizing sections of the article is not available. The "quick facts" with dates, family, occupations, etc. is hidden by default. The tabs view isn't good, I don't want to adjust how much of each tab I see, I don't want to swipe tabs away like it's a dating app, there needs to be more contrast or a border between tabs. Needs a read in new tab button

Looks good. But there is no search any longer? You can search in page but not Wikipedia itself. update: Thanks the fast reply. I saw the text to search but when I touched close to the W the side menu opened up. It is hard to see the cursor flashing right next to "search Wikipedia" it would be easier 2c if there was a magnifying glassglass or the text disappeared leaving just a flashing cursor.

Wiki app. does provide more tools to view download articles , post , and some are more elaborated. It does need some improvements .Some articles through the app. dosen't always seem to have the same information format , and may be missing current info .It needs to have the option on the prompt to either open the articles online directly or to use the app. It only asks on the popup when searching articles in the browser , under wiki ( cancel or open with wiki app. )

I have had some minor issues with this app, but by far, the most disruptive takes place while editing articles. As I edit, the page enlarges the font size at random. The built-in font size function is unaffected, making it effectively impossible to make large edits, as after a short time, I can't even make out sentences due to the extreme zoom. I will gladly provide screenshots and device information. I really, really want to give this a higher rating, so please fix this. ~~~~ :]

Even as a frequent user of Wikipedia, I was totally unaware of the existence of this app, only discovering it after I searched on a whim. The app overall is excellent, the random article button offers a dangerous game to play if you have any plans of being productive, and the ability to easily curate a personal collection of articles is very nice. My only gripe so far is the apparent lack of a "return to main page" button. If you fall down a rabbit hole, be ready to click the back button a lot.
