2024-10-03 | Eden | Used to be a great app where you feel like you make some kind of a difference but not anymore. They've removed any valuable rewards or put them behind a paywall, now you can basically only earn $10 coupons. They keep decreasing how many trees you can plant each week, to make it impossible for you to ever earn the big rewards. Now that they've put all the big rewards behind a paywall all my saved points are useless. Don't bother with this app, they keep changing the steps to real trees ratio.
2024-07-16 | Anissa Magallan | I absolutely love this app. It makes me feel like even when I'm not actively contributing, I'm always doing so as long as I'm walking and spendingmy points wisely. The only reason I can't give the app 5 stars is because no matter what I've done (even had a phone change) I never receive notifications. I've tried all settings and it just never works.
2024-06-18 | Amanda Strayer | I love the concept but the app needs some work. Ever since they changed how the tree valley works, my total trees planted is drastically different than the number of trees in the valley. I've messenged customer service and they don't understand. The tree valley was supposed to be a good visual representation of what you've done, but it has more trees than what I've planted. On top of that, the animal function has not worked since I've had the app and I've had it for at least a year now.
2024-03-31 | Madison Gustafson | I absolutely love this app and recommend it to anyone who is always on their feet and is walking. It is for a great cause and cost nothing. I like the points where you can use them towards eco friendly products. The only downside is that the steps aren't accurate, you have to be walking with your phone in your hand or pocket for it to accurately count, it would be great it if can connect paired with fitbit or other walking devices to get more accurate step count.
2024-02-21 | jon ruppert | Love using the app, and I love the concept that they have. I'm always about trying to take care of the trees and planet. That stated I'm having a bit of issues with the discover versus tree valley tabs. In my tree valley it says I have almost 80 trees, but in the discover tab it's been stuck at 37 for quite a while. I also wish that they'd have more news coming through instead of nothing new. It's like they don't update the app at all or don't care to fix the issues.
2024-01-24 | Andrea Brown | Pro: the concept is good. Cons: 1) The app does not connect to fitness trackers (I have a fitbit) without a 3rd party app that you have to pay for. 2) The steps that the app "tracks" does not track accurately. I can be on a 12 hour shift, constantly on my feet with my phone in hand, and it will say I only walked 2000 steps. 3) The points system is garbage, and you actually have to pay for items... I have more cons, but only a 500 word limit.
2023-12-28 | ancient sade | The stars in tree valley make it too hard to see and, I wish there was a way to have a top notification panel that counted your steps so i can easily see my steps at the top of my phone. The app has gotten a bit better and, the green tech helps since i need a new phone ,which with the cheaper price make it more affordable with the voucher you can buy with points. Also, the edit feature in the tree valley is very clunky and hard to use with the input being very delayed even wigh good connection.
2023-11-27 | Kay Murillo-Novotny | Half the time, I can't open my tree valley because it won't load or takes too long. It looks like that got fixed, but I hate that terraforming is limited per day. I thought this was supposed to be a relaxing app. I don't know what decisions were made during the expansion process, but it's gotten really weird. The automatic trees end up away from your original island. The look and feel of the trees aren't as appealing as they used to be.
2023-10-16 | Dylan C | Idea behind this app is amazing, but that's literally the only reason I still have it downloaded. It's basically useless and every time I open i pray that it's going to work like it used to. When I claim a tree, the app completely freezes. Now, I can't even plant the trees anymore, the tree valley never loads. Great idea but the app needs a lot more love and stability.
2023-09-14 | Steff Doty | Treecard is absolutely amazing and the work they do to save the environment is unparalleled. The app is simple to navigate, points are easy to earn and save, plus there's the benefit of being able to cash those points in for actually products (or to further make a positive impact). They also provide you the option to sell them your tech, for points and cash... however, they only purchase, refurbish, and resell Apple brand tech exclusively (currently). Change this and I'm all in, 5 stars. |
