SO. MANY. ADS. My local station's app may not be as polished or full-featured, but it gives me what I want with a tiny fraction of the advertising. The live radio listening experience with this app is awful, with the stream constantly interrupted by promotional spots and ads. Deleting this and switching back to my local station app.

The app is okay but not great. if you listen to part of an episode and come back a day or two later you find it doesn't keep track of your position. still a problem. I'm not sure when this changed. it used to keep track in the Finish Listening section of the My NPR tab, but now it regularly does not.. They also have a lot of "press this button" to listen now for episodes, which is horrible for driving in a car.

I have an Android which I keep updated. For the last few months, this app starts playback automatically anytime I flip Bluetooth "on", including after restarting the phone. Has resulted in loud random playback in public places multiple times. 1/5 stars. Sorry for the rating b/c I value the content, but I have to rate on what's important! Also, once again in 8 years y'all's skewed political reporting misled liberal minded ppl like myself to thinking an election was much closer than it was. 🤷‍♂️
