Speed is much better than the old version, but room for improvement. I like collections, but they don't sync. Visual tab representation has gotten much better in July '20 release. Still needs more add-ons (more are coming), URL bar should stay at the bottom when selected, and Top Sites/Collections links should be editable (at least the name). In addition, it would be nice to easily access Top Sites/Collections in private mode.

Absolutely Golden. 1 flaw IMO, I suggest immediately after download, open settings, SCROLL DOWN and turn off the option regarding data & privacy called (STUDIES) the app keeps, sells, or shares data by default.(I THINK) so, IMO. Disable studies, then a window pops up and says to turn this off, you must quit the app. It's fine. Do it. Hit continue. As soon as you do, simply re open the app, and you are now tracker free after 1, 2 more adjustments, that is. Besides that lil flaw. App is GOLD

Better features than stable, and doesn't seem particularly unstable, but still room for improvement. More extensions is nice. Importing settings from stable or nightly could be easier, and Send Tab(s) to Device fails almost every time. Can't rule out network trouble, but I'd hope it would try again and recover gracefully in a minute. Still a few websites fail to run properly, sometimes there are infinite captchas, but I suspect this is more due to devs not testing on Firefox :(

I loved it-used AndroidBeta forever for everything. But updating caused the bug that many others have. I'm unable to search or link to ANY websites. Have regular Firefox on my laptop but it doesn't sync with Beta where a vast amount is stored & sorted. So far the only suggested fix is reinstall; I'd lose it all I'm holding off to see if they come up with a more humane fix. Meanwhile, I copy and paste URLs into chrome, which works. Firefox certainly is a private browser. NO ONE can see it. Boo

Just as a reminder to anyone who doesn't understand what a beta is: it's a TEST build. It's not meant to be entirely trusted to be completely stable. Keep that in mind and download the non-beta if your having THAT many issues. In my case I've not had any unusual issues with the beta builds. Happy with most of the changes that have been made since major updates. Always innovative and trying new things. The extension support has expanded greatly! Recommend if you tire of default options.

Love the app! The only issue is that it sometimes (very rarely) crashes. The sites are saved, but it can be inconvenient to happen; though I understand it that this happens because this is the Beta. Otherwise, I love that it allows for very useful extensions. If I could I'd give 4.5/5 stars. Highly reccommended.

So much better than chrome, but one thing that drives me crazy is if you're searching Google images and you click an image and want to save it to your phone, you can't just hold and save, you have to go to the website it's linking to, and then hold and save. Same for the normal Firefox app too, and it means I can't delete chrome from my phone because I still have to use it if I'm needing a bunch of images at once

Firefox is my go to browser. Pcs, all of our phones everything. All of our android devices are rooted with custom roms. Now on my current phone I'm having some issues. Let's say I'm browsing, then I go to my home screen, check my calendar or answer a text or something, when I go back to Firefox, the window is black or white, everything below the address and menu bar. No matter what I do, same. I need to close out from recent apps and restart to get it back to normal. Wondering if you'd know why

Great App. Used for years. I really like that it stores your login information if you want it to, and it does it correctly. I also downloaded the partner app for it, Mozilla Lockwise, it keeps all of your logins saved in your Mozilla account across all of your devices as long as your logged in to both apps. It was a little finicky at first, but it seems to have worked out the kinks.

I really enjoy the visuals of the new design, but it seems like a lot of features were lost along with it for some reason. Tab syncing is now one way only. So I can send tabs to other machines I've logged into with my Firefox profile but I can't open synced tabs on my phone from other MACHINES. Nearly all plug-ins just straight up disappeared. DEFINITE 5 star if some of the missing features come back. UPDATE: tab syncing is back, Firefox is rad!
