:( Last update broke it. I couldn't open it at all. I uninstalled and side loaded an Oct 28 apk. I will update in a week and see how that goes The controls on the bottom separate from search placement grew on me. Either way is fine with me. I think there may be an issue with the way Firefox interacts with the phone's native "back" ◀ functionality. It's skipping a step. I noticed on YouTube's search.

Got this on my phone so I could access the about:config page. Great browser for testing custom settings and working with things like VPNs, proxies, and security features. It can even access .onion sites with proper configuration. Really amazing browser, but stick with Firefox standard for everyday browsing, this may have a few bugs and/or glitches unless you know exactly what you're getting yourself into.

I like the add on support and user interface, but the app has a few longstanding bugs. Website notifications aren't clickable, when the ui auto hides, the touch input to some websites is offset and Taps register where they are not supposed to, and the tab list will scroll to the top itself. Sync works very nicely for seamless browsing between devices. But it's cumbersome to have to fully open the browser when a link is shared to it and I only want to send the link to another device via Send.

I'm not a developer, but I love this because I can permanently set it to where I can have ONLY desktop sites. All mobile versions SUCK and I can have a partial computer experience on the go! Just get a very high-end device so it won't freeze, crash constantly, nor force it to reboot like my phone does.

Downloaded this APP,as I wanted a web browser Beta-version on Android. Works really cool, but can't get an older Firefox feature to work, that allows the user to Block all images (PNG,JPEG),when visiting and downloading a webpage. I Liked Firefox for doing that, because it helps save the GB data allowance associated with my web-based browsing, when at the end of the month the data runs out.

One huge problem that I have noticed is that constantly asks if you want to open a link into an App, despite the Feature being turned off to "Never" open links in Apps & all of the links cleared to not even being open into an App. I cleared all of the links last night & it still does it. But it does it on all Firefox Browsers. I browse Etsy, or AliExpress, esp AliExpress, & it asks to open the link in the App constantly. Pls send me an email for me to contact as I have found more issues. Thx

It's been a good app for the time I've been using it, but then the navigation bar was sent to the bottom, which really threw me off. Not only that, you aren't allowed to change it back. I'd at least like the option to change it back because otherwise, I'm just going to be using an older version of the app. Still tedious though, because it automatically updates without my greenlight. Ticking me off here.

Get rid of the new navigation toolbar or let us turn it off, at least when the address bar is set to the top. I want top navigation ONLY, not this absolutely awful split top+bottom combination. I switched away from other browsers to avoid this exact kind of awful UI, I don't want to have to switch away from Firefox as well to avoid it. Also why did you make the address bar smaller? There's no reason to have wasted space on the sides.

No, allow us to move the navigation back to the top or just move it back. This split setup is incredibly stupid and counterproductive to usability. I know that the UX people get an idea and think changing what we have been using for years is a good idea, but it's not. It broke the first rule of UX design, the Law of Familiarity. Bad idea for a web browser some of us have been using for more than 10 years. Changing a default is fine, but don't alter my workflow. Guess I'm going to another browser

I waited years for a decent mobile version of Firefox. The latest version FINALLY has a tab bar on tablets! Nightly lets you customize with about:config and secret settings. For everyone complaining about the UI & menu design, it's easy to change. Tap about Firefox 5 times, the secret settings menu appears. You can change the nav bar & opt in or out for the redesigned menu. I'm giving 4 stars because the homepage button is annoying and doesn't open in a new proper tab. Going in right direction!
