2024-12-14 | dszfa Freyiu | Haven't been able to get to church for a number of years because of health issues, I go to today in the word app on my smartphone every morning, I'm thankful I can read the Bible verses, then explanation, and the solid Bible teaching, that I can trust, and quiet time,
2024-12-06 | Isaiah Archuleta | I like that this app has a notes feature. I think it's nice, convenient to have a separate place with easy access to return to thoughts from different devotions. I've also appreciated the consistent verse notifications. The only thing that keeps me from giving this app a 5-star review is that the devotional doesn't include the "Go Deeper" section featured in the print issue and website. For a little while the app did which was helpful for discussion, though lately it hasn't.
2024-12-05 | Luke Bigelow | Simple and straightforward - just what I want in a devotional. God's word, a short reading to accompany it, and a place to make my notes.
2024-11-15 | Kevin Tague | Great daily tool for starting each day. In my years of study, Moody has proven to be some of the most solid theological teaching out there. Very user friendly!!!!
2024-10-21 | Sal Ansari | I used to really enjoy using the app but unfortunately for about one and a half months I haven't been able to open it. Everytime I try to open the app on my phone (Pixel 8) or my iPad, it crashes immediately. This is a huge bummer since this was something I used everyday for my devotionals in the past. Now it's simply unusable.
2024-09-26 | Midwest Mobile Alignment, Inc. | I have enjoyed, and depended on TW for as long as I can remember...I confess that I'm not big on tech changes..I get used to something and prefer it's familiar ways...that being said...I do not like that I can not change my Bible preference to NKJV! So unless I am being, which is a great possibility, completely oblivious to where to find...I am disappointed will I deal with it..of course, or I will just have to go old school..lol. Hope my complaint will spark a change. Thx, and God Bless.
2024-08-05 | nicholas edeh | This is the best of all the devotional app I have ever come across in life. Though, I am still facing some challenges like at times the app hardly open until I uninstal and restore and moreover, I try going to read from the past months but no means or access to past months readings. I think I need more clarification on how I can use it better. Lets there be a provision for offline readings
2024-06-13 | Americanwoman74 GX | Editing could be improved. Some words are missing in the devotions, or used in the wrong context. I'm not referring to the Scripture. I'm specifically referring to the devotions. Some of them leave out conjunctions, prepositions, and indefinite articles. The, an, a, and are important in a sentence. Just saying.
2023-12-22 | Debbie Borge | Originally, I only used the app when I was on vacation. Otherwise, I used the print version. Because I gave my print version to a friend, I use the app and love it. I like knowing that I can do my Today in the Word study anywhere I take my phone. It's so nice to have everything just a click away. I do miss having access to the letter from the president and other writings, as well as the monthly Q&A.
2023-10-27 | David Stone | Early days One problem I found is that it does not seem possible to only have important messages under Notifications. I turned two others off but while the main Notification is on it automatically turns them on again. Since using the app for some time I enjoy the daily devotion and especially that the relevant Bible verses are pre-selected. Bible books in foreign language and nothing to change in settings. Sadly it seems impossible to retain Bible names in English. |
