UPDATE: now the program is frequently crashing and keeps telling me the protection is not working. This has been happening for months and now, twice it has auto picked up phone calls for whatever reason. I just start hearing someone talking and it answered the phone and I wasn't even near it. I reinstalled and now lost my backed up blocked/allow lists and no option to register my backup code now. And no longer can pickup/hang up, only reject or disallow. Getting tired of this.

I've been using this app for yrs & it's always been good but for the past 6 months or so it is constantly needing to update EVERY SINGLE DAY now and is VERY annoying. The updates used to be about once/twice a month which was fine. The update alert pops up constantly throughout the day and even after I completed the update it pops up again. Otherwise the app is great and helps block the scam calls. PLEASE fix the over excessive updates.

I used this app on the past but lost it when I got a new phone. I couldn't remember the name for the longest time, just the green octopus arm and purple phone. one day scrolling, I found it again and was so excited! I've reinstalled it and am so happy it's back. It's not prefect so I tri to help by listening to voicemail and adding notes in this app. I'd nothing else, it helps me know who's calling next without having to add that number to my personal contacts list.

As a database of known bad callers with the ability to auto-ignore the spam, this used to be a 5 star app. It has soured as time went by, adding a subscription paywall & an "update database" nuisance notification if you don't pay. I don't mind paying for an app, but subscription is a nonstarter. It has been a good app, but i might look for an alternative.

Program was great, but they've turned it into nagware to try to get you to subscribe for $2/mo. You'll receive frequent notifications to update the database manually. I wouldn't mind if the notifications were reasonably spaced apart, but they're daily, and that is when you do the update. If you just dismiss them without updating, the notifications come back every few hours.

Let me join the chorus of one-time fans and say I have uninstalled the app due to the nagging of the database update, which is used as a pretext for you to upgrade to the paid version. If you have an Android phone you can pretty much avoid unwanted calls anyway by allowing only your contacts to call you, which is found in settings/sound/do not disturb/calls/Allow calls from contacts only

Works pretty good. The people use it, the better it gets. I would gladly give a one time donation. I don't do any subscriptions. Those things are like a hole in your tire. I had to downgrade. Not only had they made a subscription, they do updates almost everyday and tell you to get a subscription to make it easier. Dudes! That's was so cheesy and cheap. Especially since all your data is from us crowd sourcing.

Have been using this for years and loved it. However, now I'm getting non-stop notifications to update the data base with no way to do it. Reading other people's reviews, I guess you now have to pay for updates. I've had no option to do it manually and am not going to pay for a subscription (not that I've gotten any notification about it or info on how to pay for it even if I wanted to!). Very disappointed in the change without any warning along with the constant notifications I can't stop.

Great app. You can see how others have categorized and described unknown callers. You can block unwanted calls. Update: I haven't been getting any notifications about receiving voicemails, like I used to before installing this app. In fact, I looked for the voicemail phone number in my contacts, where it used to be, and it had been deleted 🤔 Please fix that problem. Otherwise, it's a helpful app

It's OK, does prevent calls from going through. Don't like the fact that I *must* set it as default from Android's phone, because I use both. Switching back and forth is a nuisance. It shows I have one blocked number when Phone lists about 100 or more. I could count them but don't want to. But they want a five star review, so there.
