2024-08-30 | Peter Chan | I played this in beta and loved it then, and I love it even more now. I'm a huge marine biology enthusiast, so this is such a dream come true. The game is fun, easy to use, and you learn along the way.
2024-05-30 | Violet Carne | Extremely fun and contributing to science! Collect photos of weird deep sea critters and very concerned fish!
2024-05-13 | Tracy | Pretty cool app if you love marine life or are a student in a marine related field! It's a fun way to study for my marine invertebrates class! My only issues are the controls for the illuminate game don't work well, and when you click on the "none of these" option, you don't get feedback if you were wrong. At the end of trainings it should reveal the species so you can learn to of them better, and I'd love if we could get species names when you add a picture to favorites so I can look them up!
2024-05-09 | Steven Sorensen | I just started playing this but I have to say this has more than I expected even! I know what I'm doing while standing in line at the grocery store from now on. It tells you about all the different animals that you are identifying, and it's such a fascinating world down there!
2024-05-07 | A Rogue Spartan | A super cool way to not only help science, but learn in a fun and interactive way! An absolute blast for a future Marine Biologist like myself!
2024-05-06 | Haowei Zheng | Relaxing and fun game. Drifting through ocean currents and identifying animals is pretty enjoyable. The UI/tutorials need some work, it wasnt super clear how everything worked
2024-05-04 | Elaine Abigail | Really cool game! I feel like I'm learning while also teaching AI! My one piece of feedback is it's difficult to discern the different overlapping "paths" when going on a dive. I don't know if it would take away from the illusion of swimming to much to have some kind of highlighted path instead of just vague bubble clusters, I think that could make it feel less overwhelming when first starting.
2024-05-03 | Pang Ku Yang | I am learning so much! The music is soothing and the simplicity of the game and layout is great! It is also stunning to know once you start the expedition section you are viewing some of the images for the first time and helping identify the species! Although, some of the images are a bit out of focus or are close up shots it is still fun to figure it out. The game is like a matching game, very specific matching, so it is definitely a great challenge! Thank you everyone involved in creating this
2024-05-02 | Tenny | I would have LOVED to play it as a kid and see all the candid creature pictures. Seeing all the deep ocean creatures is super cool along with learning to ID them! Not really something for a casual gamer who isn't super interested in biology, but FANTASTIC for any ocean lover or young (or old) scientist.
2024-05-02 | Ash Rowan | Wonderful play a fun little game and help further the study of our oceans by helping them train their algorithm to recognize what kind of animal it's looking at even if it's never seen that specific species before. Really like the options for background music as well. |
