2024-05-30 | Kahla R. | I love this game SO much, I've been playing and replaying it for years now. My only problems are that I've had a character get up to like 60 kills but I can never get the Zombie Killer trophies after 20 kills, & I've also noticed that there are several character deaths that will bug out and not register, which tends to make the actual storytelling part of the game get jumbled/buggy afterwards (like Jude dying at the grocery store but being at the museum still). Otherwise still a really fun game!
2023-04-07 | Gage Walt | Spent so many hours in this game, can't wait for part 4 so far my setup is pretty awesome, but I do hope the 'Haven' will be more of a choosable location eventually. Like if we got a choice between a few major locations. Either way, I played for 7 hours the other day and it was only between when the house burned and the junkyard. I need more, I would buy like 100 parts to this if there were that many, keep it up!!!
2022-10-21 | Martin | Really love this game but there were quite few typos here and there and some of the story scenes were wrong. In one scene I had only a kukri and my bare hands and it said I shot a zombie. Also the first time when romantic interests were introduced I said I wasn't into anyone but the second time they came around and I do select to have an interest in someone we instantly smash. That scene felt way too forced. The romance pacing felt way off. There wasn't even much flirting before then.
2022-10-12 | Tanner Mackey | I love this game. I'm a huge fan of choose your own adventure games and zombie games, and this really hits that niche interest for me. The amount of choices available, and the obvious interest of the author wanting to provide players/readers with what they want are both fantastic. Definitely worth the costs to upgrade and extend playtime.
2022-03-04 | Pawes Maci | This story is definetly a work of art, and I love it to pieces. The only reason Im not rating it 5 stars is due to the lack of any form of saving implimented, especially in the third chapter. While I get it "could" add risk, it mostly makes things irritating when your deep in the story and you get sprayed with the virus (with zero warning to my knowledge) and have to start over a hefty length of the story. Otherwise, I wish I could give it a 5 that it deservers, but this issue is frustrating.
2022-01-02 | Eat Your Heart Out | Jim Dattilo is a fantastic story teller whose voice always lures you in for multiple play throughs. Safe Haven is a beast with many faces that you'll always find your way back to -- whether it's due to the well-paced story, the endearing characters, the believable setting... I could go on. This COG has an absolutely insane level of detail and care put into it. Anyone who picks this up is in for a treat and truly a magnum opus of the Choice of Games collection in general.
2021-11-27 | Mewlin Hart | This game has some amazing storytelling going on. You really get yourself immersed in what's going on, how to help your fellow survivors, how to handle whatever situation comes your way, and deal with it how you decide your character will. There's a ton of options when it comes to pretty much every decision you character gets to make, and it's amazing. Fully recommend it to those who like a detailed, immersive story that allowed you to make the decisions you want to. :)
2020-10-28 | Jaime Machado | I absolutely loved playing this game, though the chapters were gone too fast. As of the time of me writing this, I've had 3 different play throughs, and I plan to continue making more characters. I can't wait for part 3, though if I can request something, could you make more interactions available? It felt like I had to choose between talking to the characters, or planning for my group's survival and fixing the camp. Still, I loved it, and I'm sure I'll love the next part.
2020-09-11 | Kenneth Godwin | A deep apocalyptic tale woven for true survivor horror fan. In depth and well written. You'll feel the impact of every choice made from start to finish. Not easy to put down. Just keep releasing new chapters and don't ever feel rushed about releasing the next update. Safe Haven will become one of your favorites. Thanks Hosted Games for setting the bar high and exceeding it.
2020-09-05 | Your Son | I actually really enjoyed this game so far! I played through all of Zombie Exodus and loved it. The two main issues I can see is: Its too short and I know its still in development. My only other complaint is that I can't delete saves for characters I made. I have around 20 saves from just me being bored that I'll never go back too, but I can't just delete the saves unless I'm missing something. I know I can delete it and re-download it but I don't want to pay for the extra chapters again. |
