| 2024-11-11 |  | | I used this to download a big file since browser's download speed is slow and restarts itself when connection is unstable; the app did it's job. Just know that FDM won't overtake as your default download manager; so you will either copy paste the download link into the app, or use the app's inbuilt browser. The builtin browser doesn't have ad blocker though, which is a must to me. It is pain to browse without ad blocker. Also it should have tabs. Overall browser should be improved. |

The other video downloaders are garbage, nothing but misdirection press this, press that, very petty when I see that I never will use it unless it slips in. May I suggest that it would be a good addition if this app had a window mode that pops up (overlay) if you download from a browser without opening the exact FDM app and shows where directory you can save it so it is not hassle to go back and fort on the browser. One of the best download manager 4.5/5 |
