The automatic image upload is killing me. It's one of the main reasons I got Cryptomator, and it doesn't work right. For years, people have complained that deleting an uploaded image on your computer simply prompts Cryptomator to re-upload it from your phone again, making it completely impossible to organize or clean up your image folder. For the other user, it seems to do fine with encrypting my files on Dropbox. But, dang, the image upload sucks!

Good app but room for improvement...having used the Boxcryptor android app for several years, I do miss being able to do things that would make this app truly 5*: - to pin favourite folders and files for ease of access - to open text files in the editor of my choice (Jota+ in my case) - to have a default vault selected for unlocking - bugs when downloading (exporting) large tiff files with no error information shown Hopefully given this is a paid product it'll improve...

So far, it just works. I am transitioning away from Microsoft Windows and OneDrive due to increasingly grave privacy concerns. I am changing to solely Linux computers now and am using pCloud plus Cryptomator for cloud storage. The combo is about as simple as encrypted cloud storage containers possibly can be. Fairly similar to OneDrive's "Personal Vault" in ease of use. On Android, this app opens my cloud directory seamlessly, and it provides all the expected "sharing" of files from my device.
