| 2024-05-28 |  | | I love this app but I recently encountered a nasty bug. If you modify the "Author" metadata, an unwanted "Author" entry is added, which you can neither edit nor delete. This is particularly annoying when you Send bookmarks to Google Drive. There is another bug also affecting bookmarks if you open a book with a file manager outside of Coolreader. |

My only gripe is with text colors, there's no real green or custom colors allowed, you have to pick from a list of preset choices, but the app has a color picker that could be used... Please add custom colors or "CRT Green" as an option, will donate $5 for this |

The last Bookmark created is gone when the app is next opened. The last page read does not open when the app is started. This needs to be fixed. I have to keep notes of the last page read in a book. |

Absolutely no ads works with tons of different formats including PDF epub and mobi and a couple others that I can't remember right now. Some of the settings are a little bit difficult but the actual user experience is very good once you get the hang of the menu system. |
| 2022-11-16 |  | | Thanks for your application. The new version is getting worse. I can't manage with the settings. I can't hide the settings panel except the full mode view. But in the full mode there's no any settings panel to use. Also it is impossible to change a book. It is very hard. Sorry, your app's lost the scores for me. There's a problem with a brightness, which is changed every time you continue reading, that is independently from the phone brightness settings. Could you correct this? |
| 2022-07-07 |  | | simply 5 stars. used it on the phone to read books - with the tablet it is even better. u can customize everything: from font(gamma!),fallback font, offset, backrounds. superuseful (fully customizable o'course) tapzone. so, if i want to read smething i download epub and still i can surf and read newspapers. it really lets me leave the ebook behind. travelling bookworm's dream! smetimes it can be buggy-but this is a drop on a hot hot app. best app tip: enable document fonts ;) |

So far it's even better because the interface is so simple to navigate and the app is very responsive. I like all the customization options and the sync capabilities. Thanks to the dev for such a great app! |

The only true reading app where You can sync your bookmarks, books, and settings across devices (great when I use my phone and tablet interchangeably), & it supports so many formats that I haven't found an ebook it couldn't open. What's more, it's completely free, and hasn't show even a single ad in the many years I've been using it. Huge thank you to the developers! |

Question for developers: is there a slightest possibility of creating a reading mode with animation of listing pages? In all the books i read under the text there's now a solid colour block. I can change the colour in the settings (but it always stays white) and i can change the setting to be a texture, like it used to, instead of a colour - but it always stays white. Has anyone had this? |
