SECURITY FEATURES
• All data is encrypted, including Entry names, Category definitions and the data itself. Even the choice of Favorite Category is encrypted.
• Encrypts data using AES or Blowfish algorithms with key sizes of 256, 192 or 128 bits.
• When the data file is decrypted, up to all combinations of algorithm and key size are tried with the Master password to unlock the data file. The app itself does not store any hint to the actual cipher or key size.
• Uses a randomly generated 'salt' combined with the Master password. Salt helps to protect from off-line dictionary attacks.
• The key to open the data file is created by combining your master password with the 512-bit 'salt'. The result is hashed 1000 times by SHA-256. Repetitive hashing makes a brute force attack more difficult.
• Supports auto destruction of the data file after a predefined number of unsuccessful unlocks have been tried.
• Unlike other similar Android apps aWallet has no internet access permission (forever). The only permissions this app has is to access to the USB device to backup/restore the data file in case you lose your phone. USB device access is also needed to export to CSV file format. Permission is also granted to the Google Play billing service to allow for the optional purchase of the aWallet Pro features.

I've loved using this app, BUT my screen had a smudge and it didn't read my fingerprint a few times. Now I'm locked out - I haven't entered the password in years so I don't know it, and I get that. But why won't it let me try the fingerprint again? I have the same fingers! Have I permanently lost hundreds of passwords? The FAQ seem to say that's the case. It should go back to fingerprint after a day, at least.

Cloud data changed on: 1/24/24 10:24 AM o Keep local data, overwrite Cloud. o Replace local data from Cloud. Today is 1/31/24 I do not understand up to here, so I filled the first circle. All the data disappeared. Data.crypt got modified in the old phone and all is lost. help?

It's a really good app. However, there us one thing that I wished they would do differently. I want to export my ewallet contents to my iPad. The issue is that the csv file is automatically saved to a location on my Android device where it can only be accessed by connecting my phone to a computer. There needs to be an option to save the file to my file folder on my phone so I ca
