Almost all instances of "speeding" were on sections of road that were not the speed they thought it was and haven't been that speed ever or for ages (it thinks a stretch of road that has been 50 mph for as long as I can remember is 30 mph, similarlyit thinks a part of the a town is 25 mph when its 30 mph and always has been). Trying to decide if it's worth keeping to see if it improves. |

Their algorithm is definitely off after a few months of testing. Today reported two instances of heartbreaking when there wasn't any at all. I wouldn't trust this app to save my life. If the other driver, in a vehicle that IS NOT MINE, SPEEDS OR DRIVES POORLY, IT SHOWS ON MY PROFILE . I then have to go to the app and indicate that I wasn't driving and that the vehicle wasn't mine. If this isn't done, it can lower my driving score. The phone with the drive safe app should be evaluating the AARP MEMBER, DRIVING THE INDIVIDUALS INSURED VEHICLE. |
