2023-10-25 | Elisabeth Joy | I valued the simplicity of prior versions of this app. But that's all gone now. The recent update removed all of my tabs from the previous app version, with no way to restore them. I've tried to get over that, but I can't get over how dysfunctional and buggy the new app version is. Most of the time, I can't see any controls like going back or seeing my home button. To even exit the app, I have to force close it. I'm a fairly patient person and rarely complain about apps. But this is the worst.
2023-07-29 | ryland mcdonald | I have been using this app for over four years. It has worked completely fine without error for these whole four years until this update has come, it was a perfect compact app to do a simple purpose but now it's got too much going on and it's not working anymore for a lot of people. If it's not broken don't mess with it. I will be switching to another app who can actually run their stuff cleanly.
2023-07-17 | Troy S | I use this app to prevent advertising for random stuff I search for. It has always been great in the past but since the big change, I'm getting advertising outside of the app for things I have searched for only in the app. I did leave the app open in the background which probably did have something to do with it, but expected behavior is that it is contained in it's own "bubble" with nothing being shared between the in app world and out of app world.
2023-06-25 | Patricio Valdebenito | New Interface interface is nice but lost some features. Example once you hit home button and then recent app it shows in resent apps. It used to have a feature to not show in recent app. Also now I can not figure out how to loads different web sites in different tabs. Meaning it only lets you load 1 web site at a time. Please fix. Thanks 👍🏼.
2023-06-12 | James Collins | Happily Used this app for many years. Recent updates have made it unuseable. It's buggy, sites don't display properly, rotation doesn't work right, downloads are not persistent or locatable in the file system, it's more resource intensive, and it doesn't clear properly when minimized or closed. I think it is time to move on to something else that works.
2023-05-28 | Tia Bloom | I love this app and have been using it without any issues for years; however, in the last couple of days, it has not been working and every time I go to use it, it says something about the server being at its limit or gives an error message on a blank page. Uninstalling for another browser app, because this one is useless to me in its current state. Update: since its recent update & look, the app is even worse & takes forever to load—so done, going to unfortunately have to switch to another app
2023-05-24 | Taylor Oberst | ! Links don't open correctly in the main window now, you have to click on the tab button to find the link that was opened. They seemed to fix a few things that went missing from the March 2023 update, as to what, I'm not sure. I would still like the option to disable the loading of images please.
2023-05-24 | Mitch C | In trying to give it a facelift, they've ruined it. First, screen rotation/fullscreen functionality went sideways. They then revamped the entire app, which did bring back the orientation functionally but at the cost of the browser not knowing when to display a mobile vs desktop site + being incapable of knowing the difference. Video playback is also broken, now producing errors about the content not being playable. Clearly, not very thorough testing was done in the most recent update.
2023-05-09 | Charlie Bakewell | It used to be light and quick and now it seems quite opposite. I had the original set as my default browser for links from email, verification, etc. This version opens, seems to be loading something... and doesn't. It's okay for manual entry of URLs but slow. Closing tabs changes the orientation to portrait mode.
2023-04-30 | Sean R . Nicholson (Sean R Nicholson) | Has been a great browser for 5 years. I use it to test web sites much like Chrome Incognito mode. For this purpose, I need it to load a clean session and clear data when I minimize the browser. It should behave like major browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Unfortunately, the recent updates are causing issues. YouTube videos don't rotate properly, websites stay open even when the browser is minimized, app switches to dark mode all the time without prompt, etc... It's just super buggy now. |
