I downloaded this several years ago and I paid to have all the exercises unlocked, then I stop using it for a while. when I got back into it they expanded app immensely and added a subscription model which is understandable, but they have severely restricted what I can do now even less than before, the most basic feature that I paid for, the guided breathing, is now limited to 5 times a month, so I basically paid for nothing. For that I can't honestly give this a more than 1 star.

I've only recently decided to write a review as I stopped using this app a couple of years ago when the subscription model took effect. I'm a huge fan of WH and his teachings. It was a tremendous disappointment that, after purchasing the essentials course, I am still required to pay a monthly fee for an animated breathing bubble narrated by Wim Hof. Really feels like the spirit of the method is being replaced by the spirit of $$$.

Excellent tool. I got the app because I started doing Wim' guided breathing from YouTube videos, and wanted to extend my breath hold and record my frequency and duration of practices. Since getting the app I am exploring additional exercises. TIP1: Free embedded videos available from the home screen, are not available from the manual add screen. TIP2: The app has hung up twice in two weeks of using it. May have been my phone. I save my results after 7 reps of breathing.

Edited: They rolled out a fix for my problem on the next update after I contacted them! Thank you so much! I have a suggestion for the future. Is it possible to let us choose our own music or sounds on the app during breath holds? I just think that would be a great addition. Thanks again! Old review: Ever since the latest update every time I open the app it changes from dark mode to light mode. Everything else is great, I hope you guys can fix this issue soon. Thank you

I have the paid version. I like many of the features, I was using the free version for the breath timers originally and decided to upgrade recently. Unfortunately I had 3 days of cold showers in, I adjusted my level and made the time custom and my cold showers that were logged disappeared from the challenge area. I can see them in the results, but not in the 20 day challenge.

This app was wonderful, I even had a subscription any time I could afford it. Now the app has limited even basic logging to breathing and showers. I am now tracking my progress elsewhere. I do an ice bath everyday, and have found a third party breath bubble. I used to do the slow breathing due to my higher altitude, so the YouTube does not work well for me at the rate of breath it provides. I also frequently go beyond the time limits of the breath hold on the site, but it is difficult to pause the video and track your time. I purchased the hardback book and use it for the all the information.

The cold and the air are free, but this extremely underdeveloped app costs a lot. you'd think the one thing an app like this would get right would be the button to end the retention, it should be easy to press as you're not looking and have no oxygen - but they made it the size of a quarter. Why not the whole screen? The guided breathing still is inferior to the YouTube video - it plays the same music for both breathing and retention, the music selection screen is extremely buggy.

Excellent app! I would love to see an option to make it automatically add a note after the breathing exercise. As it is, it is cumbersome to have to navigate out through the calendar to add a note. I commonly like to write some note after the breathing exercise to describe my experience and what made it unique. I would also love to see a similar feature for the ice bath, as I always do a cold soak following the breathing, allowing logging temperature and duration.

It's a solid app. Yeah, it's a subscription, but not an expensive one. And it has really made the Wim Hof Method more accessible for me. I bought the Fundamentals course and have found myself using the app's guided breathing over the course's. I also love the shower timer. Surprisingly useful little app. For those upset that it's not free, keep in mind that the cost to maintain the app went up significantly when they hired professional software developers (not cheap).

Generally works well and helps visualise progress and activities/challenges. But I don't really like how the app is shifting toward a paying for more of services that use to be free. If you are just looking for the guided breathing exercises I recommend going to their youtube channel. However, if I found myself making this a bigger part of my life then I would probably pay for the services.
