| 2024-10-26 |  | | New contact add-on to squeeze more $,I paid $4, that's an update,it should be free. /This app will provide shortcuts from different sources, is not just a search thing.I have Power Shortcuts, from that app I can add a lot of shortcuts and the app doesn't needs to be open, and the shortcuts doesn't needs to be on the home screen.That's not just the great thing, you can also call/launch widgets,again it doesn't needs to be on the home screen.The power of this depends of the installed apps 😁🎉 |

Seems like it's everyday that I have to go into my settings and restore a backup of the last time I manually turned off all the shortcuts for apps that I don't care to have shortcuts for. I use MacroDroid to automate the daily resets to a backup, but with 6+ months of working around this bug and no fix in sight, I am hesitant to continue using this app. |
| 2024-06-21 |  | | The app was working fine, good app but the recent update reset all my settings. I emailed support (Phil and Steven but both emails bounced back saying email does not exist. Please fix your email address so I can send my support questions. I now have to go through each app and toggle off shortcuts. Very time consuming. I'll change rating after my support issues are fixed. |
| 2024-06-05 |  | | I didn't know I needed this app until now. This improved the way I navigate my phone in subtle ways that make a huge difference. If you make a long press shortcut to, let's say Wikipedia, it launches new instances that remain as tabs in Chrome. If you make a traditional homescreen shortcut, it always links back to the same instance. With Sesame as an option, I ca now set up different behaviors! Also, once you customize Sesame search, it gets you to exactly what you need quickly! Love this app! |
| 2023-12-05 |  | | it's really a shame that Nova seems full in on Branch, because this really is a much better app. the developer clearly spent so long working on this app that it had to be a labor of love. it isn't perfect; there's one app in particular that stubbornly refuses to cooperate with sesame. plus for some reason sesame decides to search whichever app it feels like occasionally. obviously, this is a little disappointing when you're trying to search for underwear on Spotify. Still, I don't use any other. |

Idk if it would even be possible, but I would LOVE if the sidebar color options could include a "negative" option like windows mouse cursor. It may require a newer phone because it would actively make the sidebar the opposite color of whatever color the screen is currently displaying. This solves the issue of using more transparent color which is hard to find on some site backgrounds, or using low transparency and is distracting/ugly. TY! |
| 2023-08-06 |  | | On my Pixel 6 Pro running Nova Prime, Sesame has stopped working properly. It randomly stops populating the long-press menus on my home screen. So, I'll long-press the icon for the Google Play Store, and instead of only "My Apps" appearing in the menu as configured, it just shows the regular Android "App Info" and "Sesame" selections. Opening Sesame and "refreshing all shortcut data" does get it working again, but only for a little while. Please fix! |

I've switched phones and reinstalled the app and in that case I might be able to justify charging me to pay for a license again but all I did was reset my device and re install the app but it wants me to pay again after I already paid once. It's only like $3 but this is ridiculous. If I pay for a license it should be good at least for the life of my device. |
| 2022-07-25 |  | | Well, if I was looking for a way to search the internet this would would be great. But supposedly it supports searching for files on my phone, yet it never finds any. It simply keeps doing a Google search. If I could, I'd simply disable any online searching. What about it, developers? Does or does not Sesame search for files. If it only searches the web, it's not much effort to simply open a web browser. What's the point of Sesame anyway? Especially with storage getting bigger and bigger.. |
| 2022-05-28 |  | | stunned by how cool and useful this app is and how well it integrates with Niagara Launcher. my only complaint thus far is that search doesn't work for Poweramp the way it works for Spotify, which is a bummer since Poweramp is my main music app. Also, I'm unable to open files from the search, whether in Niagara quick search or with the actual Sesame overlay. it just pops up with an error toast. |
