| 2024-09-11 |  | | Extremely useful for anyone that needs to know about or troubleshoot anything on their local network. If you need this to be a little more robust, like working with Mac addresses, particularly with Android 10+ users, you should download v3. 12 to get around android's new over-restrictive rules for developers. Developer has placed a link to this version on their help page. Just side load the app. |
| 2024-08-25 |  | | This was an excellent app. But now without MAC addresses, the app is almost useless. I had an average of 50 units attached to the network and I had about 95% of all the units individually identified and named so I knew exactly what unit data I was looking at within the LAN scan. But after the 8/24/24 update, the app lost about 95% of the names of the 50 LAN units. So now I basically have no idea what unit I am reviewing after I do a LAN scan, so now this has become a basically useless app! |
| 2024-08-21 |  | | Pro version. Recent Google requirements make this app less useful. As you can no no longer see the MACs for a device. The update appears to have deleted my custom names. Fortunately, I have a old LAN scan that I was able to export. It would have been nice be able to import the old scan so that I could restore the names.. |

It's the Swiss Army Knife of LAN and WLAN scanning and diagnostic apps, and I'm so pleased with it that I bought the Pro version to help fund its development -- twice! (I recently switched to a new Google account). It is worth every penny, which is not something you can say about many apps. |
| 2024-05-15 |  | | I tried many and this is the only one to show netmask. Everything works well. The only issue is the Back gesture always exits the app, which does get a little annoying. Hope the dev will consider "Back" first going to a consistent page such as Information, then exit if gestured again. Otherwise worth the purchase. |
| 2024-02-26 |  | | I love it! I used to use an app called fing. I found it to be not as functional and not quite as intuitive. If you're doing any sort of network troubleshooting this app is incredibly helpful. I'm routinely adding building automation devices to our network. And I routinely run into issues. This app helps me solve them. It's tools function is incredibly helpful so that I can ping devices on my network once I sign in through my VPN |
| 2024-01-01 |  | | In an older device, where the wireless features of the device are still a bit useful, I got a msg that my app is no longer licensed because a new version is out, which I can't get bc it's not compatible. Then why did I lose my license for? It wasn't enough that I had to remain signed in to Google in the off chance I might need the app so it'd still work. Just get the Hurricane Electric app. It's a bit uglier but it does more than this one and for free w/no data collected. This isn't worth it. |
| 2023-11-02 |  | | This is one of only apps that I've found that can show the MAC addresses of devices on your LAN, a very useful feature. Google has gone to great pains to make this impossible to do. I had written a nice app that did this, then Google broke it, and I haven't found any way to get MAC addresses. And I've tried many things. Yet, somehow, Network Analyzer can do it. Great job by the developer(s)! I wish they'd share their secret with me. |
| 2023-09-17 |  | | App gives you the info you need when interfacing your phone with other systems, as well as lots of info to help keep your phone working perfectly. This isn't an app that is for everyone... it's too technical for most, and not deeply technical enough for some - but, for what it does, it is great! |
| 2023-08-12 |  | | This is an excellent WiFi analyzer for Android devices. I'm running it on my S21 now (also ran it on all my previous Samsung Galaxys). Being able to visualize what other WiFi signals are around you and on what channels so you can select the correct channels for your own system. Also great being able to see all the devices connected to the network you are connected to. |
