2024-10-10 | Wes Samuelson | This has been the best for making sure I get my work done in college. I have ADHD but the widget let's me see things at a glance and the points system is great for dopamine. Also, I can create my own stats, like relaxing. It's great for tracking mental health as well. It takes a little bit to set up, but once you do that, it pays for itself 30x over
2024-08-15 | Michael Groome | It's the first week of use, so my review is subject to updates, but I invested into this app because it has a nice appearance, a pomodoro timer built in and the gaming elements are simple, customizable and fun. There are only 6 attributes like a common RPG character, which I like, and narrowed down area of life to make it logical for my life. There's a slight learning curve but it's not too complex. I had it within a day. overall it's great!
2024-07-30 | Lani L | Love the app and I've been using it for years. I have a suggestion though, it would very beneficial to be able to add the amount of time you want to spend on the task, which would be tracked with the pomodoro function. For example, I want to create a study task with the goal of focusing at least 2 hours a day in using pomodoro. It would also be nice to have the option to show the subtasks under the main task.
2024-07-18 | Tyler Abair | This is the right gameification app for me and my ADHD. Well integrated features (my favorite, Pomodoro that gives the best "currency"). I've tried so many, and they were too much like video games. This one is more like a game, and it's lighter, so I can just use it to organize without too much game interference causing decision fatigue. Can I make a feature request? I'd love LifeUp to have a companion app for my Pixel Watch. At least let me start and control Pomodoros from there.
2024-06-24 | Jasmine Brown | Phenomenal for habit tracking. If you are not tech-savvy, you may experience a learning curve. However, I use this app daily and have seen the positive and long-lasting effects of tracking my small habits (sometimes helped by the app's reward system, like coins, rewards, and loot boxes). Highly recommend as a companion to anyone wanting to pay closer attention to their habits and decisions.
2024-06-05 | Jeffrey Davis | I'm enjoying the app's daily gamification of my routines. Suggestion: An "auto-use" toggle option for rewards to activate upon acquisition would enhance convenience, eliminating the need to manually initiate them from the inventory. With this feature we could make a copy of any reward we'd want to auto-trigger (which could be hidden from view with the "hide disabled purchase items" shops setting). Leaving standard manually-redeemable rewards to be purchased and sit in inventory until redeemed.
2024-04-16 | Theo | Really great app. Have to stop using because of it just erasing 15 min of planning repeatedly. Glitching in the task creation window, randomly forcing me into certain lists when Im looking at another, just generally has some weird stuff that makes it kinda unstable for me. I've probably wanted over an hour and half from time lost due to technical difficulties. Not worth it for me. Edit; literally I write this review and delete something off the list and it deleted a random item of another list.
2024-03-07 | Cali Rose (CaliRose41319) | An amazing app for selective individuals. Not immediately intuitive but highly customizable for tasks and to-do lists. I loved using habitica due to the quests and social aspect(now gone), as well as, watching my character level up and obtain weapons, pets, and mounts. I used to try to make my unique awards for coins, however, this app executes that the way I envisioned. As an artist, I would love to see the developers bring more of the visual in-app awards. Overall worth the $ in my opinion.
2023-11-09 | Nikki Hernandez | I'm overwhelmed by the complexity of this application; it's just too much for me to handle. I can barely keep on task to get out of bed and start work on time. When I opened up the app I went through the guided tour which was already information overload. After completing the tour; and not retaining a single thing it said, my brain went to mush when I saw how many menus and options presented. It's not fair to give a low star rating, but this app is not for me. I need something more simple.
2023-09-12 | Crystal Cunningham | I really like the app! I am motivated to complete my tasks, I like the World feature and you can customize times and days to do tasks. I haven't used a few of the features yet, like the Pomodoro. The purchase price is certainly worth all the work that went into this app! Overall, I really enjoy using it so far! The only problem I've run into was the amount of tutorial I needed to get going with it. It's kinda overwhelming but once you get the hang of it, it's no big deal. |
