2024-10-07 | Kevin Hutchison | OMG...... I've been an Android phone user since the trusty and Trendy (at the time) HTC hero! I've ALWAYS needed a WiFi on/off widget and tbh as long as it done the job I was happy ð...but lately as the android is getting higher they're always hassle....THIS APP/WIDGET IS JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN NEEDING.... For the size options even the 1x1 widgets are brilliant can be used as Just a WiFi on/off switch or you can even click the tiny icon's to get more info! It's free and very functional. AMAZING!
2024-06-10 | Ravi Agarwal | 1. Widget needs more customisation. eg wider larger row size, font selection, etc. 2. Every time I change network it asks "Allow Wifi Shortcuts+ to turn on Wi-Fi?". There should be a setting to make this permanently to "allow". 3. Device keeps switching to different network. This app doesn't prevent auto switching.
2023-08-18 | Nameless SdK | It does the basic main thing I was looking for: tap to join a specific network. But controlling the wifi on/off doesn't work, with all permissions enabled. Possibly the app hasn't kept up with changing Android permissions.
2022-11-24 | Simon Reader | All the WiFi switching options you could want. Try a few, take minutes, to get the permutation that you want. Bit I was missing & easily got the setup I wanted once I realised, is that pressing different parts of even a 1x1 icon can give different information.
2022-04-26 | Patrice Wallace-Bowie | This one is "near" perfect. Only 1 "important" thing it doesn't do for me. That is ... When I'm on a campground with spotty reception, sometimes my phone says "Connected with NO internet" but this widget just says "Connected". I really need to know if I am connected "with internet" or not. When it says "connected" I think I'm ready to surf the internet. Then wonder what's going on when I can't. I'm forced to go into my phones settings to get a "true" status of "Connected without Internet".
2021-08-21 | Daniel Medley | I like this app is just a shame it needs location on to work. I understand it needs it on to work but it's a shame it does because location services are a battery killer and I don't think it's worth the luxury of being able to switch networks a few seconds quicker. My phone's WiFi list doesn't require location to be on to show me SSID name, so why does this?
2021-04-26 | Ron Auble | This app solved a problem I've been having with setting my phone to the 2.4 GHz band on my router. My phone had listed only the 5GHz band since upgraded to Android 11. Many devices need to be on the 2.4GHz band when being paired to the router. Thanks guys!
2021-02-16 | Michael White | Does exactly what I need - switches WiFi networks quickly and efficiently. It does have downsides (switches off wifi before switching networks, latest version must be side-loaded), but those are driven by devices and Google, not the developers. Will probably increase rating after I've used it for awhile.
2021-02-08 | Neeraj Arora | Perfection can't be improved. That should be your tag line. Amazing different size widgets for managing WiFi networks connection for a single device. Simply wow. This app asks for installing it from a GitHub link as soon as you open for first time after installing from Google Play. Also, it asks for providing location permission always as per Android need for wifi refresh. No battery drainage despite it keeps listening for wifi signals around you.
2020-12-21 | RiCo | Very useful. I can jump onto a different WiFi with one 'click'. (I've got two WiFi networks at home, so if I want WiFi as I move from the lounge to the kitchen, I have to do l perform this action quite often.) Thanks dev! |
