2024-11-27 | Thales Kirk | The app itself does everything I want, however, I wish they would dedicate more resources to visual change, app organization, and user controls. It maintains a similar forum visual as in browser which works there but I wish they would make this more like a phone app and less like a mobile site link. hole that makes sense. Looks are important.
2024-11-19 | Mitchell Chambers | I wish the titles of the shows were in English, or you had the option to choose. However the worst part is it's separated into seasons and now the show itself. Maybe if it had a subsection under every show itself, it'd make my lists less busy and also your rating on every season could average on the over all rating of the show itself.
2024-09-21 | Phillip Mayberry | I give the app 2 stars because half the time the app does what I need it to, which is track my anime and manga as well as access to clubs where I discuss anime. The other half of the time the app will crash, not respond, and be an overall frustrating experience. It should be noted that even when the app is working it is somewhat slow, and it doesn't always load pictures and all the comments. The app is clearly not well designed, and could use a more efficient code rewrite.
2024-09-20 | Chris Amsden | App works fine, easy way to search and add to watch list when I get recommendations. Navigating through completed shows is impossible without English titles. Constant re-searching or scrolling for 10 minutes, staring at thumbnails. I can't remember all the English names either, but at least I recognize them in a list. Worthy of 4-5 stars with English titles. Without, it's just a notepad with search. Update 2 to 4 star: even without English titles (lame), it's a pretty good notepad with search.
2024-08-22 | Jesse Palmer | As much as I'd like to use this app on more than a very rare occasion, I cannot do so because of a critical flaw. Unfortunately, at least for me, all the anime names when browsing are in Japanese. To be fair, if you click on them you can find the English title breakfast is not help me when I'm trying to browse through the lists. I browse by viewing the cover art and it's so inconvenient for me that I just don't use the app. Please update the app with an option to change the titles to English.
2024-08-05 | Christopher Hanlin | App is helpful, but difficult to navigate easily through names since theres no english option for anime titles. It's all just the romanized Japanese, which makes it hard to select when you only know the english title for it. While the english titles can be found in the synopsis, an option that allows the english title to be shown on the main page means less hassle to have to click onto each synopsis and would offer a smoother use of the app. Especially when aiming to quickly add to your list.
2024-08-01 | wyatt holtkamp | Edit: incessant notifications have gotten better. I think it would be better if the app opened up automatically to your list, though. That's what we're all here for anyway. You get two more stars for not being awful 👍 I have all notifications turned off, yet continue to receive notifications constantly. Fix this, or I will delete the app and once again leave this service for the next 5 years.
2024-07-29 | Sebastian Garcia | It's really good and I'm glad it's an app. I used to barely update my list because I would have to use my PC everytime. Now I can add stuff fast and easy. My only real nitpicks would be that you can't see your friends' lists on the app. It just directed me to the site which I can't stand on my phone. It needs to be part of the app. Also, you should be able to change the layout of the lists from squares to, well, a list format. But that's pretty much it. The app is great.
2024-06-25 | Tyler Boston | I like the app because you can get notified when a new episode/show/manga chapter is viewable to the public. What I don't like is that I have been receiving a notification every 15 minutes about a show that is being watched by the community that I don't even have followed. This has been going on all weekend; over 100 notifications. Edit: (was 1 star) Issue fixed, but app tends to break itself more often than I would like. Fantastic when it works, infuriating when it doesn't.
2024-06-16 | HarrisonRandom | Meh. Could be better. Kind of like the website but a "lite" version. App takes you to the website if you want to make any significant changes to your profile. Can't view comments on profile, utilize the friends tab, etc. Search is functional, and the UI is fairly intuitive. It just needs an overhaul to be a legitimate competitor to the website. |
