2024-11-16 | Susan Pinochet | I bought this to make the annoying ads go away. Then I got notifications every little bit so I turned them off. Now the app harasses me to turn them back on *every* time I open the app. I wasn't looking for a relationship with this thing. How do I make it shut up? Without this issue I'd give it 5 stars. --- Edit: Developer responded with info on changing settings to avoid this issue. That worked for me so I'm changing to 5 stars.
2024-07-08 | N A | I've used regular Battery Widget for over 10 yrs. So when I was installing apps on a new phone. I decided to try this "reborn" version instead. Not once has the battery level been the same as the phone provided battery level (which is more accurate). I'm not even talking about other features. The main feature of this app isn't even working -it's giving me % up to 90% higher than the actual phone battery. My phone has died twice relying on this false data. Pixel 7pro android 14.
2024-07-03 | ROBERT HEYWOOD | For a few years I had a widget on my home page, which may have been an earlier version of yours, which showed, in real time, the battery percentage without having to tap the widget (which continually shows 75% even though that's not the actual percentage). I would gladly pay for one that did what I want!
2024-03-30 | Rachel | I wanted to like this app but ended up uninstalling. One of the major reasons to keep a persistent toolbar icon that shows battery % is to provide a visual indicator once low so you know to plug it in. I therfore expected the icon to turn red or something obvious to alert me, but it doesn't unfortunately. So that means there's nothing it does that my phone's stock settings can't do.
2023-12-12 | Bradley Kuss | Very useful app. It puts a small square in what I call the header that shows the percentage of the battery life left. Open the app and there a wealth of information about the battery performance is available plus information about app usage. Yes a lot of this information is available through settings but you have to go down and up various tree branches to get to the information. This app gathers it all for you and more.
2023-10-31 | Steve | This app does exactly what I bought it for - to give an estimate of how much battery time I have left at any given moment. As an added bonus I can view a graph π of battery depletion. If that is showing a steep downward trend then I know I have to many apps open. On my Pixel 4a 5G I can view that as a chart in my pull-down notifications or as a widget planted wherever I choose. Couldn't resist the $2 upgrade (on sale) so now I have more things to tinker with.
2023-10-20 | Cotick Somick | My old Motorola had the similar app pre-installed, so I was able to see the charge level of my battery without using my glasses. I was not able to find that kind of app on my new Samsung. This battery widget solved the problem and I am very happy. Annoying ads during configuration bother me a little, but after I am done, the app works great. I am very happy.
2023-09-22 | Doug Quanstrom | I have tried many battery apps. My main purpose was not so much to see the status of my charge but to be able to see if my phone was overheating This app does that and so much more. It rarely ever crashes, and if it does it tells you so so you can just click on the notification and restart it. It does not draw much power whatsoever but it shows you everything you need to know about your power. And it's widget has quite a few customizations so you see what you want.
2023-08-07 | Peace HappyB | Very nice app. My new Android battery indicator is terrible all the way around on my new phone. I don't get to see the battery symbol and the % at the same time - it is one or the other which is horrible and not user friendly. Nor do I see more specific information about the battery usage. This app is useful and was able to create a widget to show the percentage.
2023-05-10 | MTN LYF | Great if your screen is broken where the battery percentage icon usually is, or you want to customize the home screen on your phone with relevant information. Sometimes the widget stops working (rarely) but your OS will inform you of that and all you have to do is tap the widget and return to home. My only complaint is how many squares on your home screen it requires. For the 12 units it takes up on my screen it only really needs 4. So there is alot of unused space on my home screen. |
