When I press the full screen view, it rotates to full screen for half a second and snaps back to vertical. The camera feed is too small in vertical mode. | |
2024-12-06 | Joe Foltz | Update 12/5/24: The replay option for SD card recordings lost the ability to lower the time view to easily go to a specific time. The interface makes zero sense. Time to switch camera brands. No option to save recordings to FTP server. No option to record motion without a notification. Lacks the ability to connect older non cloud Wansview cameras so you're stuck using two apps. It also requires location permission. | |
2024-11-25 | KK Laue | Update: The Nov 22 update DID NOT FIX the problem which recorded videos on SD card cannot be played from the Alert screen. This is an important feature and was working before the Oct update. How can they not fix it ASAP??? Everything works fine BEFORE the most recent app update on Oct 12. I can't play the recorded videos from the Alert screen. I was pretty satisfied with the cameras and app until this update broke several working functionalities. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!! | |

I did find a workaround using Developer Mode to Force activities to be resizable. 2024/10/18: The most recent update seems to have broken multi-window support. That was the main way I used this app, so it'd be extremely helpful to have that back. | |
2024-11-06 | Richard Jordan | Mostly very good. i ordered 2 as a pack liked them so much I ordered 2 more cons. Zoom is unstable when zoomed to what you want to look at and move fingers it moves to either side up or down and not very clear at full Zoom, but I spent more money on one certain brand that's been nothing but a pain in my butt than I did on all 4 these cameras combined plus the range is amazing no trouble with these at all I have limited use of my left are due to a stroke so the easy set up was a blessing. | |
2024-10-29 | Cori J | Android app keeps restarting when switching between apps and the pan when zoomed in jumps around. IOS version does none of this. Very frustrating. But image is good (except when zoomed of course). Night vision is excellent though camera is only used indoors. Gave up on alerts and voice long ago, never worked well. | |
2024-10-11 | Denise T | *Update: got a replacement -set up worked, but still doesn't operate the camera. Don't bother. *Took forever to set up, kept telling me my wifi password was wrong even though everything else is hooked up to the same wifi using that password. Then it finally hooked up. As soon as I left this morning it suddenly says it's not connected to the WiFi. I have a different brand camera that's working just fine on that same Internet. I've already initiated a return. It was great when I first got my first camera but now it's absolutely trash. Updates don't do anything. This is ridiculous. Now I need to go get other more reliable cameras. I Have two and the outdoor one over rode my indoor one when they connected together.. Ridiculous. The outdoor one goes offline allot, now both indoors and outdoors no longer work. Need something reliable that I don't have to keep re-connecting wasted my money Garbage. | |
2024-09-17 | Casey Rhode | Was a good app even with its glitches. Still glitchy and they've started moving features behind the subscription paywall. I've had storage cards in all my cameras, but they want 8 dollars a month to see 10s motion alert vids. They removed the quickest way to check motion alerts from free users, and expect people to start paying. I bought and used bc they had a clear separation of free vs sub. Tldr; Using bad business practices pushing customers to your subscription for features we already had |
