I have had a good experience with this app. It has been helpful to me for managing my fluctuating hearing loss due to menierres disease. I have take multiple tests over multiple days to average together to get a better profile for my hearing aids. The only problem I have is that I have to manually pick the levels at each band from the audiogram and hand enter it into an excel sheet. It would be great if the data could be exported as a csv for import into excel.

I was going to give this app a high score until today, many months after initially using the app and having suffered a sudden worsening of my hearing, only to find that the old headphone calibration is not able to be used. No reason given, option is just greyed out. The person who did the original calibration is unavailable so there's no way to make a comparison. Entirely useless now.

Having experienced sudden hearing loss, this tool allows me to check in with my remaining frequencies, to huge psychological benefit! Easy to use, accurate to a point (at a certain threshold by good ear picks up what my poor ear cannot through no fault of the app) and freely available, this app does exactly what it promises to do and does it well.

This app is pretty close to the real deal when using my earphones that came with my phone and had a calibration. I compared the results from this app, to a work audiogram, and audiologist audiogram and was pleased. The low end results where off a bit, but for some one taking in noise, the high frequency results were striking dang near spot on and if taking in noise your high end results is what you want anyways.

Recommended by my ear doctor, not as a substitute for professional audiology tests, but to supplement them. I did a test on this app right after going to the audiologist and compared results. This app is accurate. Use it to monitor your hearing for changes. If you experience a sudden hearing loss, get in to see a specialist right away, within 2 weeks. They might be able to treat you and reverse the hearing loss. They said after 2 weeks the treatment is less likely to work. Take it seriously!

Very similar to audiology tests at ENT office. Main difference is that this test always uses numbers, so it's easier to guess at the response. Only 10 possible responses. Whereas the in person test uses an infinite number of possible answers, providing a more accurate data set.

This is absolutely incredible that there is such a app that does this so so well. Have had professional ear testing done and can't believe how good you can do this in the comfort of your own home! Please remember if you do use this App I'm mentioning please get into a very quiet room or place around you as your test results will show. One other thing I was using my Skullcandy wireless headphones with my Galaxy S9 Samsung. Incredible thank-you out to the people programming such an App.

Definitely the best free hearing test app out there. Tried it on myself for fun and compared it to an actual hearing audiogram from two years ago and the results were exact. Of course, you should you get your hearing tested by a professional, but this app is a very good start for checking your hearing.

fear you might be going deaf? Fear no more, KNOW IT! All kidding aside this app really helped, it does exactly what it is supposed to do in a clear, useful and functional way. I really hope it stays the same or only changes for the better. App store apps seem to follow an unfortunate trend when they 'just work', of either selling out or putting useful features behind a pay wall to, to just not working anymore. Thanks dev.

Overall excellent. No headphones with phone so used my own. With them wired in I was able to hear the sounds in both speakers so I had to remove one headphone, whereas the BT function had sound in only one ear at a time as intended. My functional hearing was somehow better than 0db with wired, but for my deaf ear I had the *exact* same level of hearing loss at the same frequency for both BT and wired functions so I guess it doesn't matter. Actually, far more accurate than a free preliminary test I did at an audiologist a while ago which told me I have perfect hearing (I definitely do not!) Thank you!
