Just when I thought this app couldn't get better. If I could give this app and all its plugins 6-stars, I would.

mMusic Playlist can't seem to save a playlist to my external sdcard. I assume it needs to be updated to work properly with KitKat's new permissions API. (KitKat doesn't allow an app to write to the external sdcard until the app registers itself as owner of the folder. According to Google, this is to enhance security. But it can break old apps.) I can get mMusic Playlist to save a playlist to the internal memory, but navigating back and forth between internal memory to select a playlist and external memory to select audio files would be tedious. On a device with a tiny screen, navigating to the desired folder when saving a playlist is difficult because most of the screen is occupied by the onscreen keyboard plus the field into which the filename is to be typed plus the Save/Cancel buttons. Only a tiny bit of space is available to show the list of folders, which makes it very hard to swipe to scroll the list. Trying to swipe often accidentally causes it to behave as if I selected a folder. On devices with small screens, I recommend separating the step of selecting the folder from the step of typing in the filename, so the two steps don't compete for the screen area.

Loved that it scans media, love being able to generate playlists, hate that there is no way to load the list. Its only pitfall is the incomplete thinking. What good is a playlist that you can't revisit?
